Averaging 80 in a 16 round season is pretty much unparalleled though. That and Gemmell's Season 2 fight it out for the best BS season ever with daylight third, forth and fifth. He'd been a top class batsman a couple of seasons prior too. Not a 55-65 average batsman or anything but he was averaging high 40s which would've made him top 10. And then he exploded. I reckon Skippos is the best right now tbh. Arguments can be made for Torres and Flack, and they're definitely not invalid arguments, but I'd rather have Skippos than any other batsman right now.
Yeah I'm not saying it's not exceptional... I'd just like him to have two seasons hitting >50 average before I;d take him over Torres. That and I hate cunts blowing their own trumpet like he did. I'd wager that's probably the case for Gee's reaction too
Oh, I didn't see I'd managed to get a bowling rank! Pffft. My batting average is 40 runs higher than my bowling average, not the paltry 33 you manage.
So who's your best bat then? Torres? Torres, Flack and Morgan are all fair enough answers IMO. I suppose you could bring OD cricket into it if you wanted too - Torres and Flack have been wholly disappointing at that while Morgan has been really good still.
There's really nothing in it between Flack and Torres. Basically identical but with S9 and 10 swapped. Torres gets in on the last two seasons but Flack over his career. If we're talking about value to the team I'd take Flack because he provides a genuine bowling option now. But as a batsman it's hard to split them.
So few people tipped the Ravens, but the CricSim Herald tips had the tips on that game split really evenly IIRC. Shows what you non-Herald plebs know.
Well that was surprisingly awesome. Runs, runs, runs. But fuck all wickets That rank will drop soon. Welker though WAG
