Of players who are inexplicably bad at OD cricket 1. CJ Ardley 2. ZAF MacDonald 3, IV Narang 4. SB Wilson 5. LE Schaw 6. HG Emm 7. AJ Izett 8. K Fung + 9. R Gee 10. RST Downpipes 11. TJ Bradford
It'll be interesting to see if you blokes can actually find any trends here. Aggressive middle order batsmen seem to be a bit bad on the whole - either that or ridiculously awesome. They go hard too early and end up scoring 20 (18) too often.
ZAF MacDonald Sorry bro but you're really bad.
IV Narang. Averages 24 with the bat, takes less than 1 wicket per match and concedes over five and a half runs an over. SB Wilson. The first bowler inducted into the HoF takes his wickets at 50+ in one dayers. But LE Schaw, Souths and likely Test keeper, with an average of 13 and high score of 26 from 11 innings, takes the biscuit
Top work Howe. Was kinda hoping Cribb, you or someone else would pop in and post a few names to get the ball rolling because I sure as shit wasn't going to bother.
I can't remember if Flack and Torres are shit or just not as good as their FC exploits suggests they should be.
Torres was kinda fluking being shit for a while, he hit a ton in his last OD match of the season and now has decent OD figures. Flack has a gun bowling record in one-dayers. We're only just starting to get any sort of meaningful amount of matches going. A lot of players like Deane and me have completely different records in RT than in HC for example. So I don't expect many people to be on The List for long
%DA Eggman On the surface it doesn't look so bad, but when you compare him to the other genuine fast bowlers who open the bowling and bowl at the death in every single game, an average in the mid 30s and an economy rate closer to 5 than 4.5 really is poor. His figures are better for the Vipers where he gets to bowl to the tail in his second spell all the time but he's really been exposed for Victoria.
Is it true that how good you are at provincial matches at least somewhat depends on how much you post in provincial subbies, or have I made that up?
