You only had to look above a couple of posts.

It gets named in about an hour and a half but the QLD team for Game 2 is apparently:

    1.Slater
    2.Boyd
    3.Inglis
    4.Hodges
    5.Tate
    6.Thurston
    7.Cronk
    8.Scott
    9.Smith
    10.Myles
    11.Papalii
    12.Thaiday
    13.Parker

    14.Gillett
    15.Shillington/Hannant
    16.Te'o
    17.Cherry-Evans/McQueen

Much better team than Game I. First and most obvious is an actual fucking prop on the bench. No Harrison is a pure error of judgement but it's not a major issue because Parker and Papalii are both excellent. Dropping Harrison but keeping Gillett and Te'o boggles my mind but anyway.

The word is Cherry-Evans and Gillett may both be there with McQueen dropping to 18th man.

    Hopefully Cherry-Evans gets the nod.

Yeah. I'm dying to see him pull on a QLD jersery. Same with Papalii the pocket rocket.

  5. Gazza GJ Weaver

    Should smash the NSW team

Dugan is going to get found out like a boss. His form for St Geoege has been good but not great like every fucker in the media is making it out to be.

I really like Dugan as a player. He's a traditional fullback, of which I am fond. But he just isn't that good.

  8. Jazz NC Smith

I think Dugan will go fine. His one game for NSW in 2011 was very good. He will not add the creativity that NSW need but that is to do with selectons/injury rather than his play.

You're right - he's old school, but that's not really what you want in a fullback these days. Especially in a side like NSW that lacks creativity in the halves. I like Tedesco. He's small and mobile, but he runs it back hard as well.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Merritt have a run. I'm backing him to score off a bird offload.

Am I the only one that hates the Merritt selection?

    Nathan Merritt? lol

You can have a traditional fullback, in fact I think it's preferable, if you have genuinely creative halves. If you don't, then yes, it almost becomes a necessity.

No prop on the bench for qld. McQueen named To start

If you'd have told me at the start of the year that we wouldn't pick Shillington and Hannant when they're fit............

  18. Jazz NC Smith

 I think the cherry on top is that Kennedy has been named as 18th man ...

I CBF'd to watch Canberra games... but did they miss Hannant single-handedly rip Wests a new arsehole last night?
