I reckon Taylor probably fractured a rib or something and will be out anyway. Barrett should be back next week right?
Dagg put up some useful high balls, but Aaron Smith was okay - nothing more... And the less said about Nonu's kicking the better.
Taylor was pretty average but was all we needed. Logically he's being talked up due to him being the 4th choice first five and having a couple of breaks/ pass assists in space. 6/10.
Taylor did his job perfectly fine, i nor did anyone expect him to come out and run the ship like Cruden or DC, he's kicking game was no where near DC but who would expect a 4th choice 1st 5 to do so??? He had a decent placed kicking game with him missing a few by just a few metres. He was solid and that's all we needed from him. Good on him for stepping up in the AB's shirt.
5 at best, and that's taking into account his lack of experience. Still, he did better than I expected.
Missed the game but another solid win. Was shocked to see the score in the jarps v Argies game. Great to reduce a 60 point difference to just 5 in one game.
We don't do consistency. And Argentina were absolutely horrid when they played here. They were always going to do much better, even before you consider the home advantage. Magnitude does seem a bit ridiculous though.
Were there any player personnell changes for the argies? No one goes from losing by 60 points to 5 just from home field advantage and pulling up your socks.
Argentina have always been a hell of a lot better at home. Helluva long journey for any team in the world.
There were a couple iirc, nothing that should have made a massive difference though afaik. Supposedly we were pretty shit.
Hurricane to comment on the "home officiating" which allowed the Argentine (Fernandez Lobbe) to stay on the field after the cynical holding back of the chasing All Black.
Or Richie McCaw staying on after being pinged for laying in the ruck again. After already sin binning an Argie for the same offense. /troll Was an alright game. Fair few mistakes from the AB's probably made it closer than it should have been. Argentina need to improve their lineouts, but that scrum :fap:
Find myself in the unusual position of supporting an Australian sporting team* once again. The Boks are just such a hard team to warm to. Scrum will be interesting; on paper the Saffers should completely destroy the Wobblies' powder puffs, but the new scrum law might make it interesting. *Who aren't the Socceroos, who're endearingly shite
