Yeah like feature is gun. Dislike feature is kind of pointless especially on a forum like this though. So much better than a rep system.
Don't think even like-only systems work very well in a small forum like this. That said, since this isn't reddit and the likes won't amount to anything, it doesn't actually matter.
Before I joined Cricsim, I briefly spent some time on a shitty forum called HBANZ solely for the purpose of trolling all of the autistic haxball fanatics on there. Long story short, the voting system legitimately fucked up the forum experience, IMO.
Voting system is shit, so is reps. Liking single posts is totally different. I read a lot of threads and hardly posts now days, I find a lot of posts I agree with but I cbf posting some shit post that will contribute nothing agreeing with it, liking a post means you can contribute without clogging up the forum. As well as shit posts. TLET will be 100 times better.
There isn't 100, there's 10 max, which still takes half a second to scroll through. Really doesn't bother me either way though, so I'll leave it.
Couldn't really find anywhere else to post it but on the /site when you search stats, is there a way to search for PC OD stats individually or is the PC stats purely combining the two?
They're separated. And please don't bump irrelevant threads. If you can't find a suitable thread, start a new one. We do have a New Thread button.
You see how it says Provincial (FC)? Well, funnily enough, that means it's the provincial First Class stats. Not the provincial First Class stats and the provincial List A ones combined.
List A comp IDs are the same as FC comp IDs +10. So comp=12 in your link rather than comp=2 and you're sweet. But no, that wasn't your fucking question. Your stupid fucking question was whether they were combined. You might as well have said "hey is there a way to look at the provincial OD stats or are they randomly combined with the ALC stats?" or "hey is there a way to look at the provincial OD stats individually or are they grouped in with Ricky Ponting's Test stats on cricinfo.com?" Why would they be combined when the page is clearly labelled telling you they're not part of the stats you're looking at? Your question, should I grant you the lack of logic to not be able to figure out the comp ID yourself from the other ones, should have been "is there a provincial OD stats page or not?" and not bullshit about them being combined. You should have known they'd not be combined as it clearly says they're not as it'd make no sense anyway. Think before you fucking post, ffs. You make me so mad.
My point was to ask you, where i could find them, if in fact, they weren't combined. Fuck, sorry for asking a question about something i was unsure of, on a forum. Yes, you may deem it as "lack of logic" but the fact is, i had NFI that it was a matter of changing the comp ID. Calm yourself mate, no need to get so defensive and aggresive over a simple question. Life isn't that tough. A simple answer would've been a lot easier instead of ranting on.
You always do this. You shouldn't need to be told every single thing; you should be apply logic to the knowledge you have to figure out other things. After you were taught how to spread peanut butter, did you learn separately how to spread vegemite, or did you logically apply your peanut-butter-spreading technique to something else? I'm not even mad that you didn't figure out how to change the ID though. I'm mad that you asked whether they were combined. Why the fuck would they be combined?? It would have made more sense for you to ask whether I'd written them in my underwear or embedded them into the source code of showthread.php. You just make no sense sometimes. Try to think things through before asking stupid questions. If you've thought about it for a few hours then carefully ask your question (carefully! in the right thread!) because otherwise you're a massive pain.
This exchange made me so frustrated that I accidentally poked myself in the eye with my thumbnail in frustration thinking about just now. It fucking hurts, but it's still not as much of a pain as you are MP.
