The one thing I tried to do when recruiting was get alot of Poms. I think that in the future, despite having one of the most 'aussie' or non pom names anyway, we'll be seen as a bit of an English club. I'm all for that, really.
haha. Well, we've got 3 or 4 Englishman in our reggies. Add Farny in our firsts. Then we have 3 Asians (shri, weird indian dude and Fung ). We're a multicultural side.
Are you even playing in the Bannerman Shield? And Ged, surprised that you see the Pomgolian contingent as a good thing, although obviously I like it. That's what I enjoyed about the Clones last year.
Yeah. That's the one. He's actually an alright bloke I think. Just young and from a different culture.
Yeah. Yorkshire have Rudolph, Kruis, and possibly one other. I don't like it when there's more than 1 Kolpak in any team's XI though.
Thought Hampshire were going that way last summer, signed about 4 Saffers who were meant to be awesome and only one played! Liking the Pom feel we've got going here, and multi-cultural can only be a good thing, can't it!?
The fact we had a few English guys in the Brumbies/Clones last year did us all loads of good. People to talk to, increased all our activity.
