So bad from the Raiders pretty much camped inside the Dragons half for the last 15 minutes of that half and only looked like scoring through one kick. You can't deny the job Ricky Stuart has dome in building the roster but I reckon they need to bring someone else in to reap the rewards of it all.
See I would have no issues with Papalii being sent to the bin there, that was reckless to say the least. Idiots will use it as justification for the ban on shoulder charges
I know that's the rule, but it's stupid. Slap a bloke and you get 10 in the bin, deliberately throw a shoulder into someones face and knock them the fuck out and it's just a pen. That's dumb as shit.
In all other grades, a punch is an instant send off and you never use the sin bin for it. The NRL have their own interpretations to many rules such as that one.
We're talking about the NRL though. But even then, how is a punch so much worse than a deliberate shoulder to the head that the punishments are so different?
There's a lot of grey area in that though. How do you know it was deliberate? Was the player falling etc ect. A punch is pretty black and white
Yeh it's really hard to judge intent in a High tackle. I thought it fell more into the reckless category than accidental so wouldn't have been mad if he got sent. I couldn't believe it didn't even go on report though.
What a fucking horrendous game of rugby league this was. Melbourne should put 60 on Canberra next week at about 75%
