We've got a few options with the lineup now. Wilkin's defensive prowess will most likely see him start as we needed to sure that aspect up but how we do that I'm not sure. We might even play with Kearney in reserves and use someone like hunt at hooker for 20 minutes to give Ennis a rest with Gav Cooper slotting into the centres and then the backrow. Our forward pack's probably a prop short but Pritchard and O'Donnell both average on or over 100m per game and Bolton and Gav average about 80.
To an extent it will. I'm not entirely sold on Yeaman and Smith but I think that our halves will be rated ok. With props and second rowers, a lot of the rating will be stat based anyway and we've picked a couple of good ones. Lynch averages over 130m a game, so even if that equates to 100 in the nrl, it's still good enough with Rapira on the bench and Price there. Flannery's proven in the nrl and is still decent. And wilkin's very good defensively. We should be ok I reckon. I'm more confident in them than some of the past it former nrl players picked from the super league.
Your pommy outside backs are pretty overrated picks, I mean they are getting picked off one good season of scoring tries.
Pommy backs are no where near Australian backs. Forwards are good in England, as shown by the successful transition of Morley, Ellis but the backs are just terrible. Hodgson won player of the year in England, and his career was on it's way down after peaking in 05-06. To pick Yeaman and Smith that early was a terrible decision, imo.
\_/ @ what Lukic thinks. When his team is on the bottom, and we're on top and I'm licking his tears, then we'll talk.
