For next season's PC, I'd really like to see a home and away series held. I reckon it would just add another dimension to the series and maybe take away the monotony of the current PC structure. Thoughts?
Sorry, just read it over quickly, I thought you were going for a whole structure change. Yeah, fully agree. Good idea.
The funny thing is that Qld would go a pretty similar pitch to what the gabba is in real life. Good for the quickies and good bounce.
Would be nice to play each team at home. Would make things a lot more interesting, and probably closer as well.
Think it'll help teams on the lower end (NZ, QLD etc) to get pitches that suit their player depth/squad more. Pitches to be done after squads obv. jks at QLD obv
True, but that does happen in test cricket too. I think it would make things a bit more like real life having pitch conditions but it would probably end up putting NSW further a head due to their far greater depth than any other province.
I don't mind it, as long as it's not too exaggerated. I don't want to see a 10,0,0 pitch or something. If all assistance numbers have to be between 3 and 7 or something to still make it an actual test of ability for players then I think it's a good idea.
