Speirz, just so we know for future, what will be the format of this? Like a normal European league? Everyone plays each other twice and the Premiers are the team that came first place? Or is it A-league style with finals etc.
Perhaps a Spanish La Liga style format? With a winter break halfway through. 14 teams I think there are, so perhaps 36 fixtures, playing each team twice with a month break at the 14th fixture mark? Or maybe after that have a Top two major semi finals with the 3rd 4th 5th and 6th placed teams playing a match format of 3rd v 6th and 4th v 5th, then TBA v TBA for the minor semi, then GF?
Do we need a break? Saying that, with squads of onlky 20, 4 injuries/suspensiosn and your down to your minimum.
I was thinking of the break perhaps for player fitness levels (as stated by Blunder) or as perhaps a transfer period.
Transfer period would be awesome. Where you could make only swaps though. Although squads of 25 are nice and big.
Difficult to just go an swap players in FM08 though... also you might get external transfer requests coming in from the other clubs, which would just ruin the game. Have to wait and see.
We've got 12 teams and I'm trying to figure out which league would be most suitable to replace. At the moment it looks like Peru, so it's no finals series and their league is split into an opening and closing stage. I'll explain it all in more detail when we get closer to kicking off. As for transfers, it'd be near impossible to do swaps because there's no way I can guarantee that the player will agree to moving on. I'll look into it, but it'd probably be damn hard.
If your just editing the teams in an original one you could just make all the transfers a bit H4Xed (FMM 2.25) by changing the teams to all have 10000 reputation and changing the individual player who is to be transferred into loving (100) reputation of the new team and hating their current team. The players in FM basically decide to change teams based on reputation. You could also make the deal incredibly lucrative for the player involved by giving the club no money limit and basically offering the player an arm and a leg to move. There'd be less then 1% chance they'd turn it down after all that.
You can't actually. Its basically the only thing you cannot do with the FM Data editor. But you can edit leagues and swap and edit teams in them. But I think editing present teams would be easier then swapping in newly created ones. Time consuming wise.
But once you've started a game, what you do in the data editor doesnt affect anything in the game you've started, so you'll have to start again.
You make all the teams 10000 in reputation in the FMM. It's a third party tool used to edit save games on the fly. You can change all that in it.
