People wanted a brand new SR, so you need new set of teams. Vikings and Spartans would have left completely if they'd been cut, so cutting the Giants and Cheetahs was the only option. I'd of loved to keep it going, but with this new SR and stuff it wasn't gonna happen like that. I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys, but it wasn't a case of letting you keep it going because there was a demand for brand new teams. I understand that you guys are pissed at me, but you actually have to look at the reasons. If you wanted to come to the Sharks, then read the thread and declare interest and we'll most likely take you on, if you wanna go elsewhere then fair enough, but don't continue saying that I've been selfish blah blah blah.

You can complain, but these posts just like "CCG, **** off." are ridiculous. If you want to complain, you need to show a reason, like you and Fung are doing.
Yeah, I just don't see where this demand came from? The whole point of a competition is to have some bad team. The whole point of having a President is to make the right decisions. And if a President is good enough, they can make a team that's not doing too well, and turn it into a decent team via recruiting and other methods. That's the true test of a board's/President's skill. Not just posting ideas for the team.
All good then. After hearing both sides of the story I think the main error was the pace at which this was handled and the lack of communication - which is a shared error. CCG shouldn't really be entirely blamed because, to be fair, it's not like he's done it maliciously. The Giants are basically collateral damage of an SR overhaul, which in the end someone had to be.
Wait, why were new teams needed completely? It's pretty much the Giants and Cheetahs players divided up into 2 new teams yet again, give or take a few players. How does that change anything? Seems completely pointless to me.
Because CCG decided someone had to take one for the team. No one is sure why exactly anyone had to take it, but there we go.
