Keep in mind that the "Britain" province would revert to "England" in the event of this team being admitted. This covers a broader amount of nations than Ireland does and it would be able to contain actual current Celts, whereas, the Irish side would not be able to do that at present. Relevant parties to fill in this form: (if the answer to #1 is no, don't bother) 1. Do you have significant ties to Ireland/Scotland/Wales/Cornwall/Isle of Man/Brittany (birthplace/residency/heritage)? 2. Would you have pledged your allegiance to the Celtic Nations when you joined CricSim if it was an option? 3. Would you leave your current province to play for the Celtic Nations, given the chance, for reasons other than competition for places?
Well you'd automatically have: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. <a href=http://cricsim.com/site/players.php?id=117>ND Short</a> 6. 7. <a href=http://cricsim.com/site/players.php?id=358>C Laing</a> 8. 9. 10. <a href=http://cricsim.com/site/players.php?id=127>SDR Laing</a> 11. <a href=http://cricsim.com/site/players.php?id=404>J McDougal</a> .. as their ties to Britain are Celtic rather than English based, and Britian would become England. What you need is some of the Irish heritage guys to sign up, and maybe Marcuss.
Yeah I really see the rest of the side being made up of guys who were keen to join Ireland tbh. Maybe it could pull in a couple of others too.
1. Do you have significant ties to Ireland/Scotland/Wales/Cornwall/Isle of Man/Brittany (birthplace/residency/heritage)? Yes. Welsh heritage, boyo. Always try and wear a daff for St. David's Day. Have a booming baritone singin voice and can pronounce Eisteddfod. Ruthin ftw. ARAF! FFA COFFI PAWB! I also own the Super Furry Animals' Welsh Language album, Mwng. Ysebedi Heulog! 2. Would you have pledged your allegiance to the Celtic Nations when you joined CricSim if it was an option? Not sure. Would have seriously considered taking up the Welsh option, though I'm not sure that having an option of 'Celtic Nations' at sign up would have necessarily led me to understand that there's a significant Welsh link. 3. Would you leave your current province to play for the Celtic Nations, given the chance, for reasons other than competition for places? If there was the chance of Ireland being split off or not featuring at all, then yes.
1. Do you have significant ties to Ireland/Scotland/Wales/Cornwall/Isle of Man/Brittany (birthplace/residency/heritage)? Born in Ireland? 2. Would you have pledged your allegiance to the Celtic Nations when you joined CricSim if it was an option? Yes 3. Would you leave your current province to play for the Celtic Nations, given the chance, for reasons other than competition for places? Yes (if it was able to compete in the PC etc. haha)

Also, lets face it. I'm pretty unlikely to play England anyway so its not like you are losing a player, plus I will always stand by Scotland.
Its not a selection based reason for me going there, I'm just pointing out England lose nothing really. Well for the time being anyway.
