A Europe team would be dire. Other than for the Ryder Cup I cannot think of any others times I consider myself to be "European" or support "Europe". It would have no meaning to it IMO.
You'd play OD cricket for this team and PC cricket for New Zealand until this team got full status (which would be reasonably quickly I dare say) and then you'd play both for this team.
The only situation where playing for Europe would ever be desirable is when its seen as the next stage up (ie. being more valuable than playing for your nation.
1. SM Morgan 2. 3. 4. AJ Parker (?) 5. ND Short 6. 7. C Laing 8. 9. AD Hunt (?) 10. SDR Laing 11. J McDougal I think is what we are looking at currently.
He answered no for 2 and maybe for 3 - definitely earns a gagf from me regardless. Maybe isn't even an answer.
1. Do you have significant ties to Ireland/Scotland/Wales/Cornwall/Isle of Man/Brittany (birthplace/residency/heritage)? Grandparents on dad's side are Irish plus I've been living in Bristol, England for the last 3 years which is pretty close to Wales and there are loads of Welsh people there. 2. Would you have pledged your allegiance to the Celtic Nations when you joined CricSim if it was an option? Probably not although it would've been second choice. 3. Would you leave your current province to play for the Celtic Nations, given the chance, for reasons other than competition for places? Yes
yes yes yes my pop was born in Australia but his parents were full Scottish and his dad moved back to scotland to die with his family over there he would have a grave in forfar.
