Their solution is "add the IPs manually". They've closed my support ticket now despite the fact that I made it clear that I didn't really find that acceptable. Pretty dire. I'll go and add the IPs in now anyway though.

As for the rest of the games -- if you give me a list of dates and times you want them done, I'll broadcast them then.

Yeah I've just bumped it for you. They don't really seem to know what's wrong with it other than the obvious -- remote SQL access problem. It's not an easy thing to debug without having someone other than me able to test things (it works for me) as they do it.

I'll try and get the webpage version to work this week anyway as that would bypass the problem entirely.

Don't actually have access to my PC for the next couple of days so if you want to sim in that time then I think you're looking at the old system for the time being.

I'll have a proper crack tomorrow and see if I can get something no-frills up.

I have a general idea about how to do it but I'll need to re-read over the VB cold to refresh myself on exactly what it does. I'll get back to you in 24 hours; if it doesn't look likely at that point then you might as well teach Furball and Vimes how to do it the old way.
