    Day Six

    The discussions had been arduous. Their numbers were being whittled down, slowly but surely and something would need to be done. Names were tossed out like confetti and dismissed equally quickly. Before too long, however, a view seemed to form that one of their number couldn't be trusted. Their claims seemed like the flimsiest threads of gossamer and surely this indicated her guilt. As they cajoled her forward to accept her fate, it became clear she wasn't at all what they expected. The multiple-limbed, 50-foot long creature could strike fear into the strongest of hearts. It was her telepathic song that was most dangerous, however, and she convinced the mass crowds using her powers that it was all someone else's responsibility. Why, the person who finally made the call on her would be the one to pay.

    The Asari wasn't weak, and she fought against the control being exerted on her. She wasn't strong enough though. Not strong enough at all. Slowly and in a staccato motion, she raised her pistol to her temple. It paused there for what seemed like hours, but reluctantly she was convinced to pull the trigger.
