    I agree. But I also think that having loose ends with regards to suspicions and accusations is toxic to town. They all add up and end up wasting time scum hunting the wrong people. If we let Arheiner's lack of a defense slide, the suspicion on him would carry forward for every round he is alive. And that plays right into Mafia's hands too - they just leave him alive and hide behind him.

    Like I said, Escath's accusation only held weight for me when he cleared himself as Townie. And even then, its Arheiners unwillingness to engage it properly and clear the air that led to me lynching.

    I obv cant speak for the other lynchers tho. Especially those who jumped on early.

    The only mistake Arheiner made was letting himself be bullied into claiming. If hed stayed silent time would have run out and wed have no lynched, which was the best option. The worst that would have happened is he got killed by an inexperienced vig or cleared by an investigator.

    Fortuneteller Bobba was probably a very useful role and in thesr circumstances maintaining a degree of suspicion on you is the best way to keep mafia kills away from you, while freeing up protective roles to go on the better town players.

    As far as im concerned the blame for this falls first at the feat of Zorax and Lukic who were obsessed with town continuing down this line wasting an entire day phase down a rabbit hole. Once it was eatablished Escath was probably roleblocked (his character claim is irrelevent) we should have moved on. Instead we have a dead power role and a central character outed for no reason.

    At best what wel get from this is not repeating the mistake and hopefully we can use it as a starting point tomorrow.

    Mafia could've been a couple of claimable characters as we've seen in other games. I doubt it, but I just don't just Escath. He wasn't exactly forthright either.

    FTR I was the 7th lynch on Arheiner. I was hardly leading the charge on him as Blunder seems to insist.

    Definitely should interrogate those who lynchef Arheiner without any justification. Let see what happens tonight.

    Been quite busy and catching up now. What a weird lynch that was ffs.

    I think actually Escath's fine and we should definitely look at the bandwagoners. Especially those now pushing for both.

    Lukic did push very hard for the lynch although it may have just been bad judgement. IIRC his talk about anti town play was a bit dodgy.
