  1. Magic AJ Parker

No he's not, he's far from it.

He's one of the mot unique and gifted athletes in the game but he's far from being the the most skillful.

  2. Fiery GR Smith

Crap. Arguably the most skilful in the world

The bloke is a bona fide rugby league superstar, carrying New Zealand into the last World Cup final on his own back with a superb displays throughout the tournament and a freakish last minute try in the semifinal (I was at) and producing NRL highlights on a weekly basis for the Warriors.

The best sidestepper in the game, bar none, his general playmaking has come on in leaps and bounds in the past two or 3 seasons and his sharp goalkicking will always make him one of the leading point-scorers in the NRL . There may one or two more decorated halves in the NRL at the moment, but none is more fun to watch. Especially if you're a Warriors and Kiwis fan

  3. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    He is Benji Mk II
Only considering halfbacks, I'd take Thurston, Cronk, DCE and Hunt all before him.
He'd be coming in closer to 10th in my books.

  5. Tartmaster AJ James

Best sidestep & Most entertaining are not the same as most skillful though, surely you can see that.

  6. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

No cunt. If you score a long range try in a Kiwi jersey you're obviously #1

  7. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

OK, let's get serious then. It's quite obvious everyone bar you think Thurston is the best player in the game.

Why is your main man #1?

  8. Fiery GR Smith

I just can't wait for this season to get underway now so that I can point and laugh at you blokes on a weekly basis via Johnson's deeds.

  9. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Nobody is saying he isn't a good player you fuckin downey moron.

  10. Fiery GR Smith

Thurston is No.1. Not for long though.

When I said we now had the two best players in the world I was trolling somewhat hehe. (Mainly Magic.)

  11. Fiery GR Smith

    Lol. Calm down big fella.

I know people know he's a great player.

  12. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    Good. Long way from great.

Johnson is an awful player when his forwards aren't creating momentum.

  14. SM MD Dorn

That's not necessarily a good list to be on?

id argue that shrewd and smart business deals would mean you wouldn't be on that list, regardless of skill.

But good old FY - up to argue about anything

  15. Fiery GR Smith

 What are you waffling on about, SM?

Is that first line supposed to be a question?

And the second one doesn't even make sense. No one was even arguing that.

(But at least your last sentence is close to being valid.)

So who are these good players with their forwards going backwards then?

  17. Fiery GR Smith

Interested to see whether Jeff Robson and Johnson gel

normal halves who can build momentum themselves and play the metres game. 100% of Johnson's game is the forwards getting a roll on then on the 3rd 20-40 metres out with space to move he'll jump around and make something happen. When it's a tight game and the forwards are evenly matched he is clueless, he may as well not even exist. Was watching a game like that last year and holy fuck he was hopeless, it was clear they had to start giving the ball to Townsend on the last to make something structured happen, as average as he is himself, because nothing else was happening and Johnson just kept wasting it.

Fair enough. Must have been one of his off days because he also played plenty of blinders last season. But he does run hot and cold at times, admittedly.

Hoping he can improve that again this season.

  20. Lukic L Popovic

5 or 6 clubs circling Moses. Gonna be tough for the Tigers to keep him when the contract expires.

not a single soul interested in Brooks tho.
    ffs.
