I like Gavet, he was such an untypical Broncos & Bennett signing so I'm not surprised he didn't last long there.

Had a poor debut and blew out his ACL, but that's just shit bad luck. Doesn't say anything about him as a player.

He's a pretty handy pick up for the Warriors as 5th/6th choice prop.

How did he go at the Tigers, Magic ?

4. Magic AJ Parker

He & Tapau were pretty much the point of difference in a lot of games for the Tigers under Potter. Both came off the bench and offered them some really good power running.

I don't think he'll ever be good enough or have a complete enough game to be a starter but he's pretty much an expert 30 minute benchie.

Good to hear. There's plenty of competition for him to get a spot on the bench this season but hope he does the same for us if he gets a run.

6. Tartmaster AJ James

Yeah I don't mind Gavet.
If they pick him up cheap and he can stay healthy its a good signing IMO.

7. Pretzel P Retzel

Yeah dunno who was the better signing for the Warriors, him or Jonathan Wright.

8. Lukic L Popovic

He's got hands for feet and isn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he can definitely be a good impact player off the bench.

9. Lukic L Popovic

confirmed.

Given they're both probably on minimum wage, we'll just have to wait and see if he plays better than Wright has, (which won't be too hard, admittedly)

11. Mr Chook MR Chook

That's probably a worse predicament than having feet for hands.

 Good spot

Willie Mason ---> Rabbitohs rumoured. If it's base salary I'm cool with it

14. Cribbage RG Cribb

Mason would be a gun signing for any club.

15. SM MD Dorn

Mason is the sort of veteran every team could do with IMO. Contributes on the park, seems to have good leadership, and attracts fans.

Titans signed Cameron Cullen to cover Kane Elgey who's out for the season injured

17. Pretzel P Retzel

There was a write-up somewhere about how consistent Mason's stats have been over the past couple seasons. Coupled with what he'd bring off the park and that I'm guessing he's not asking that much, he'd be a good pick up as a bench prop.

18. Magic AJ Parker

I think its probably fair to question what he brings culturally and as a leader considering since he left the Dogs hes been unwanted by all his clubs entering rebuilding phases.

Hes definitely still a good enough player to be playing first grade and for that alone hes probably a good signing for a club like Souths.

There must have been something more to Grevsmuhl though... such a dumb call otherwise.

Agreed. Would love the Broncos to sign him.

So is Carney not coming back then or what?
