Facing the premiers on their home turf with a short turn-around. Can't see a Chooks victory here. Cows by 8.
Let's not forget that if you did a player v player across the park Roosters would win 2 contests at the most. Ferguson over Linnett and Friend over Granville. Every other individual contest sees NQ with a better player. They were terrible last week. They will fucking flog Easts.
We are really not that bad making metres up field. In that sense we are very similar to the last 3 years. However, as soon as last tackle comes and we are in their half, our halves have no idea what to do and that's where we are missing Pearce desperately. Our defense is so bad though. That Bolton try was embarrassing.
No and No. Called it Can't see how the Roosters are making the 8 after watching that. That's a paddlin'
Yardage will never be an issue for us. We had more than enough good ball sets in the first half to get back into the game if we were good enough. We just don't have any points in us, that'll get glossed over when we play the lesser teams but it's been extremely evident against Souths & the Cowboys. And I don't think any coach would be caught saying it out loud but there's a direct link between confidence in attack and defence.
Yeah he's no spring chicken. He was a bit ordinary for the Warriors a few years back...so not sure how he got a Roosters gig. Nasty injury though. Hope he recovers OK.
"Henderson said Castleford, West Yorkshire was the worst place he had lived. He said of the former coal mining town that residents have rotten teeth, spend too much time drinking and need a bath"
I like Henderson, and I thought he was a decent signing. But he absolutely shouldn't be playing when Friend is fit, it's silly.
