Haha. Nah. I think the guy was drunk and/or on something as even though I disturbed him and he shouted at me a bit (incomprehensibly) when the police dog showed up, he continued to lay there on a mound of pink batts he ripped from the wall and remained distinctly uninterested in what was going on. T'wasn't exactly subtle in the end either. By the time I'd called the police and after the guy saw me, he decided it was still worth his while to kick in the plywood board blocking the back door into an empty house (the only things to steal were a knackered compressor, a hand saw worth about $1 and a chisel).
http://www.sarugby.net/news/allister-coetzee-appointed-as-new-springbok-coach/ Droos or a Saffer to give us the goss on this guy...
Racially selected coach and SARU wants 50 per cent non-white players for the 2019 WC. Fair enough. Paying the price for 200 years of bigotry now.
It's the best decision if you're going for the win imo. Sure you can kick the ball out and go for 7 off the bat but if it takes you 3 minutes to score that try then the game is either lost or drawn. Take the 3 and then you have the rest of eternity to win the game provided you keep ball in hand. England very lucky not to be labeled chokers there. Aussie's poor discipline and kicking costing them this one. Ref once again missed a shit tonne and I think home town Reffing in these first two tests can be laughed off. These NH refs have favoured the NH. Regardless, England deserved winners. Really up in the air as to who wins the next one imo, if Aus get their discipline right, England will find it hard to win.
It's a very, very stupid thing to do unless a draw loses you a series/competition. This was game 1 of a series and it was a retarded decision that came back to bite them.
Like I said, it's the best decision if you're going for a win. A draw obviously not. Thing is these series are pretty meaningless in the scheme of things so makes sense to go for the win. If they had of scored, the way Foley was kicking they'd probably have still lost.
If you score a converted try then retain possession off the kick off you also have the ball 'for eternity' with a field goal a possibility, no?
Thrilled I backed England with a wee $5 bet. Couldn't believe they were paying $2.35! englands team is world class except for Amos and Burrell 13 good players is pretty impressive lol at Australia putting a fullback on the wing just to stop yarde. Mind you he did get up with one try saving tackle the reason Australia lost rego and the reason barring injuries they will lose the next two games us that Australia essentially don't understand their own brand of rugby and have not defined a style. Instead they play best in class practices on the field. Australia try to win it up front and then based on go forward ball at the collision spin it wide. When they meet a better pack they struggle. put Beale in that line up and maybe Tomane on the wing and then Australia have a potent backline. They must learn to win when the pack is going backwards or struggling to hold their own.
Yeah but what I'm saying is, you have to score that try immediately. If it takes you over 2 minutes to score it, the game's either a loss or draw.
I didn't keep up with any of the info during the week as have been busy but found it odd that DHP was on the wing. I thought they were going to do the whole Folau at 13 with DHP at 15 thing - probably would have worked better too. Folau looked good at 13 at super rugby level.
Stephen Donald in that game :fap: That's what rugby is about...and why it's so much better than league
Spread has gone from 18.5 to 20.5 after the chiefs game. I may make another bet backing 13+ as I figure actually getting a 19 point lead will be difficult.
