The exaggerated nature of the tackle due to Thurston being coat-hangered will ensure he's suspended imo. Given the current interpretation, Graham cannot possibly get off this charge because that the contact was accidental, which is most certainly was, is incidental in their view. It's a farcical situation but it only becomes even more farcical is they set standards and precedents and then totally ignore them.

I think the NSW camp is already resigned to losing him. Even Rothfield and Kent think he's gone.

As I've been saying for years, a suspended sentence for Grade 1 charges with a big game in the offing, would solve this shit. Missing an Origin, Test or GF for a tackle like that is disgraceful.

McGuire will start. Pretty happy with that. Lillyman off the bench last year was excellent. He's not flashy but the cunt practically never drops the ball (only 4 errors all season I think) and he's a very underrated hitter in defence. He and Papalii should be able to keep it tight in the middle.

lol if Frizell gets passed over again. Apparently Hoffman is most likely.

Hoffman? Seriously? Has Daley lost the plot?

    He never had it.

Well that's good. Would be a joke if he got passed over yet again. I don't know why there's been so much fuss about this for weeks anyway tbh. Will it be Graham, will it be Frizell, will it be Hoffman, will it be Beau Scott.

    Should be Greg Bird.

Feel sorry for Graham but he never should have been picked ahead of Frizzell to start with.

Nah I'd take Graham over Frizzell.

Some of you cunts better learn to spell his last name by kick-off. Anyway, I'd like to see Frizell at lock for St George and NSW in the future.

    Fizzle should go okay.

Yeah that's also a recipe for disaster if you can't put the ball where you need to. The 20m restart has become as costly as a penalty these days. It virtually guarantees a change in the dominance of field position and momentum. Kicking on tackle 2 inside QLD's 20? That is fucking insane. There are four possible outcomes from that suggestion:

1.It runs dead and you essentially hand the opposition field position dominance as well as forfeiting 4 tackles in which to score or build pressure.
2.It pulls up short and the same as above without losing field position dominance.
3.It results in a goal-line drop out which, if you're on tackle 2, means fuck all in terms of building pressure and even marginally reduces your field position.
    4.You score a try.

It's a low percentage play and it invites verbal castration of your halves if they do it even once and it doesn't work. This is the sort of shit you'd expect to be thrown up when talking about a halfback with zero creativity but a great kicking game. If that's the most salient weakness you can find in QLD's defence, then you're struggling. Maloney's talk of playing both sides is much more encouraging for Blues fans. But it can't simply be Maloney swinging over to the right. QLD's left edge isn't our weakness. It should be Reynolds going left, getting Maloney ball wider off the ruck with more time and then Moylan creating the overlap to exploit QLD's actual weakness - the right side.

Bird has been named to start on the left edge. Frizzle on the bench.

Daley is the first NSW coach and only the second overall in history to make less than 2 changes to a side which lost the previous game. I'm a firm believer in loyalty but overwhelmingly to players who've proven themselves. Honestly, in this Blues side there are about 6 or 7 proven players.

Since winning the first two games in 2014, NSW have won 1 match of the last 5. I don't understand how you're only making unforced changes between series with that record. Yeah some players need a full series to realise their potential. And some players just should never have been picked and you're an idiot with a small penis for giving them even more chances.

    Question.

Wade Graham misses Origin 2 due to suspension. Was he named to NSW before suspension announced?

So then, if a guy isn't named for an Origin side, does he serve his suspension during the game? And what would happen if a guy was serving multiple weeks (over 2 or 3 origins), would they count? Or would he need to be "named" each time?
