    They have 1 spare space and got given 350k exemption for the Boyd Cordner injury so they could go out and get someone I just don't think they will unless it's a perfect fit like James Maloney returning from super league or something of similar proportions where it just makes too much sense not to. But I think he'd much rather back himself with Hutchinson until Lam comes back than bringing in a half who hasn't done a pre-season with the club.

    Keighran and Lam are both expected back by Round 10-12 so not super long term injuries.

    I would imagine the halves would be Hutchinson and Walker. If Radley and Verills come back in the next week or 2 I imagine he will just revolve a lot more of the distribution and playmaking around them.

    Never thought I'd see the day when Hutchinson would be a feasible starting option for the Roosters, I'm sure there's posts on here from me bagging him out as a teenager. He's still such a completely useless half.

    Roosters will still make finals. They have a really good forwards and backs. They may lose some points in them, but have shown they have the players that can be a shut-out side. This could be huge for Walker coming in and having the team to himself.

    They'll still beat the shit teams, they'll lose some games against the other good teams.
    Realistically they've probs just drop from a top 3 finish to a 4th-6th finish.

    That forward pass has got to be up there with the worst refereeing decisions ever seen. When it looks forward to everyone from every angle of the ground and it looks forward on every possible camera angle you know it's really fucking bad. I've never really had a stance on whether bunker should be allowed to rule on forward passes but after watching that I feel like they've got to be able to step in on the clear and obvious ones.

    I saw Matt Ikuvalu sent off 2 weeks ago in a reserve grade game and that was definitely in my top 5 worst calls.

    0/8 interchanges used.

    All 4 interchanges were HIA interchanges where the player was later ruled out of the game, that’s insane.

    Video referee giving a try after the touch judge had put his flag up and the players all stopped. Sharks v Raiders. Worst I've ever seen and the only game I watched after that was the grand final.

    I do have to credit the Titans as they do look like a pretty solid team this year so far. They just tore our middle third to shreds. Titans record amount of points too and fitting it was against this rabble.

    The Roosters only have 19 fit First Grade players so they have to get clearance from the NRL to play reserve graders/U20 players.

    I’ve never understood this part of the salary cap & squad management before... like what advantage are a club going to get from being in this kind of situation?

    Every player outside of the top 30 is quite obviously getting less than the minimum salary of an NRL player.
