He's still the player I am the most concerned about. We always pick big packs.

Cook is still your best 9, IMO. Saying that, he shouldn't be in the Aus side.

Badel is a mouthpiece for the Broncos whenever they need it. Pangai just desperately trying to cling onto some relevancy and get that cash before his stocks go down further.

Koloamatangi and Schuster are the future of the NSW edges, both with more skill than Pangai and showing far more discipline with ball in hand and off the ball in their limited games than you could find in all of Pangai’s games combined.

That 3rd forward spot on the bench for a lock who can cover the edges goes to Radley or Yeo this year, there’s no way anyone is seriously picking Pangai ahead of those two.

Badel is required to pump out as many articles as he can on the Broncos, most of them are negative, I really don't see how he is a mouthpiece for the Broncos. Why exactly would his stocks be going down now? He has just put out 3 elite performances on the right edge completely shutting down Kikau and Fifita. Radley you can argue, although he wouldn't be anywhere close to TPJ on an edge, but you seriously would pick Yeo on the bench ahead of TPJ? You're so salty he didn't end up at the Roosters.

Who would you pick to start? Korisau? Brailey?

Only thing working against Cook right now is whether his body holds up. He appears to be carrying a number of injuries right now and it's showing.

    Papalii will miss game 1...

Tino to prop, Arrow to start at lock.

Yep awesome. 3 match ban for that. Get fucked.

I'm pretty confident of that being named, even though I disagree with a few. I can definitely see 2-3 absolute shit cunts making the side.

Not sure if we'll go with Capewell at centre again. That's a real Bennett selection. And it really only worked so well because he was up against Gutherson playing out of position.

I think we'll go Kurt Mann.

I'm all for Mann, I don't see it happening. I reckon Green goes with

    Ponga/Brimson
    Coates
    Holmes
    Gagai
    Feldt

  15. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

Looking forward to Fittler butchering the NSW side with at least 3 shocking calls.

    Squad is as follows:

    Murray
    Sims

  17. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    I count 3.

I wouldn't have picked Murray & Sims as my edge backrowers but given you can't pick Cordner, Frizzell or Crichton due to injury/suspension I'm not sure there's that much difference between the next best options. It's a position both states are pretty light on in at the moment and there's going to be disagreement no matter which way you go.

Outside of that I don't think there's too much wrong with the side. I think the bench has evolved over the last couple of years through rule changes and because of that picking a utility over a genuine dummy half on the bench has merit as does having a backrower with some leg speed on the bench so long as you still pick 2 props on the bench. I guess the only real concern would be if Cook went down early I'm not confident any of the players could fill in there and perform to any real passable level, pardon the pun.

  19. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

You still need your utility to cover 9, or at least someone in the starting 13 to be able to cover it. NSW had to pick someone capable of that on the bench without Radley being lock.

  20. jazman84 JM Eightyfour

Surprised they didn't pick Burton. Also Schuster would have been in my side.
