    He probably took home 450k this year and was fined 120. Thats not nothing. Neither is missing 9 games.

    Brisbane didnt let him off lightly. The police and courts did.

    Brisbane let him off so lightly the NRL had to come in over the top and increase the punishment.

    And yes the QLD justice system did let him off very lightly so lets not be deaf tone about that and start saying how hard he's had to do it.. the pity party is boring.

    Appreciate your loyalty to anything representing QLD but this one just ain't it.

    You sound desperate when you try to guess the motivations of other people. Reminds me of that time you made an arse of yourself saying i'm biased towards Qld for wanting Walsh over Ponga a few years ago lol. Was classic in its insanity.

    And ahh wasnt a lack of criminal conviction your justification for your club backing old man Jennings the rapist. Mmm interesting...

    The courts found Jack de Belin not guilty and look at how he got treated by the NRL. Spencer Leniu made Ezra cry over a word and had to miss 9 matches. I don't think a word and almost killing a kid while under the influence are deserving of the same punishment.

    This Warriors reserve grade side might be one of the best we have ever seen.

    They were so dominant in the NSW cup this year and absolutely demolished Burleigh inside 30mins.

    Magic, as usual, as he always does, has to caricature the facts in order to make his inane point. Calling Brisbane tone deaf because he's unhappy about Mam's non-punishment by the courts is laughable. Especially when his, and your, club for that matter were happy to celebrate 300 games for a drug-cheat, and likely rapist. lol that's the definition of glass houses.

    Won't surprise me, usually an attack fest between these two but Melbourne won't concede as much. Everything's aligned for them, got their full strength team to get revenge on last year's GF. They have all the motivation, confidence and the players. Munster and Grant bring so much more to a big game than Reynolds, Walsh or Hunt.

    Sure but it's not like Brisbane dont have motivation after the 2023 heartbreak too. No way that isnt fuelling them.

    Still think the Broncos have their measure in the pack at least enough to keep it tight. Brisbane will handle any forward injury better than Melbourne too imo. Wasnt super impressed with their narrowish wins over the Dogs and Sharks either.

    Feeling like you deserve it is a better motivation to being the underdog. I'd expect Bellamy will have them playing a free flowing game with all their usual combos to run the Broncos forwards ragged, and then their usual 3 in wrestle defence. Haas' offloads can break that but otherwise it will work well enough. And as I said before, the advantage of two giant wingers to start every set is huge, especially in a big game when they actually run full pelt every time, hence why origin wingers are always large.

    The whataboutism would make sense if I had empathised with Jennings about how tough he had done it, but I never did.

    It's not even that I believe Ezra should be hounded for the rest of his life because he was softly punished. Let him redeem himself for all I care..

    But save me the sob stories of how tough he did it this year, bloke escaped jail and is about to play in a grand final... He's not doing it tough, of course it's tone deaf.

    You really can be blinded by your love of Qlders, even to the point where you get so emotionally torn up about a guy who put a 6yo girl in hospital.

    It's a bit weird.
