Athletics Sim - Interest thread

    I'm interested to see what interest there would be in an athletics sim.

    Basically, you'd sign up as a particular type of athlete (sprinter/longjumper/highjumper/shotputter etc), and would join an athletics club. Clubs would send in their entrants for various athletics meets.

    That's why you'd have clubs. It'd require a fair number of players though, which is why I'm asking about interest :p

    I mean, hopefully we could get 5 users in each of about 7 disciplines or something. I could always fill in bots etc.

    I'd be programming the sim from scratch so I'm just getting an interest marker.

    Might do a first choice, second choice thing. But second choices would be worse than first choices if I did that.

    Thought about it, but thought it mightn't make for the most enjoyable sim.

    Another thing could be having 100 points to allocate, with decathlon being a possibility if you're prepared to split your points.

    I think being a 1-event specialist would be dull. Could still have team matches with people turning out in their best dec event.
