CPC Round 1: All Golds vs Hartley Town

101st minute: Counter attack by Hartley. Two on four here. Benzema draws Chivu in. Lobs to Soldado who is free with about 40 yards to go. Diego can't catch him. Cole and Cicinho standing too far out. Surely he will score! AND HE DOES! Low and powerful into the bottom left corner. Just as All Golds thought they were safe, Hartley Town strike back, Soldado with his second. 4-3 now to All Golds with about 4 minutes to go in the first half of extra time.

Note: Soldado had to retrieve the ball himself and take it to halfway because the All Golds were wasting time.

110th minute: Oh dear, oh dear. What has Cristian Chivu done now? Luka Modric crossed the ball to Lennon on the 6 yard line and the ref says Chivu challenged unfairly. Penalty for Hartley. Modric will step up for this one...

111st minute: GOAL! Modric with a powerful shot to the left. It's now 4-all with 10 minutes to go. We've already seen 2 goals from each side in the 20 minutes of extra time so far. Everything to play for.

 

115th minute: It's Benzema again on the counterattack. Soldado with no one around him and Benzema sees him! GOOOOOOOOOAL! That hattrick from Roberto Soldado puts Hartley in the lead again, 4-5 with 5 minutes to go.
