So Flack and Dorn have been excellent. Don't let the fact that they bat in the top four fool you.

  4. Mousey AJ Son

    Underbowled.

  5. Gazza GJ Weaver

    Do a Vipers one imo

    blunder wag

  8. Gazza GJ Weaver

Can see how more evenly spread the Vipers attack is compared to the Pumas relying on a couple

  9. Dirk Diggler DM Diggler

    Carn Chewmas!

  10. Howe JHF Howe

Odd to see Eggman being relatively mediocre.

  11. El Nino J Torres

    Torres wag.

This is the first time a team has made the Bannerman Shield final three seasons in a row.

Never would've thought it would've been the Vipers to do it, FMD.

  13. Cribbage RG Cribb

They've made it to the final series (includes the semi-final) four times in a row now, which is every season since re-admission.

  14. Mariner CL Warrington

    Ouch that's good.

You're new so you're probably not fully aware of the backstory - the first edition if you like of the Vipers was pretty much the worst club in CricSim history.

They came into the competition in Season 4, and got the wooden spoon.
In Season 5 they also got the wooden spoon but a bigger margin and were a complete embarrassment. The Pumas actually had a very poor team in Season 5 but they finished well clear of the Vipers because they were just that bad. %XX Meister hit 375 against them in one match. And that doesn't even begin to touch on the many, many off-field dramas they had and the terrible quality of their rookies' posting.

They intended to carry on in Season 6 but with so many players leaving and an already awful squad they just weren't going to be able to, so they folded. They returned to the Bannerman Shield in Season 8 .. and have made the finals every season since. Awesome turnaround.

  16. Fiery GR Smith

    373 tbh

  17. Callum CJ Laing

Once Blunder came in certainly. While the people that came into your bowling attack performed far better than the leading Pumas bowlers, you were still fairly reliant on yourself, Eggman and Welker.

  18. El Nino J Torres

Direct correlation to me joining Cricsim

  19. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

I'll personally have played in 5 consecutive finals series after this game... Not bad for a pie chucker

  20. Rusty RST Downpipes

Can't see Flack and Izzet doing the same to the Vipers bats that they did on us.
