    HTPP-SPPR v2

As I'm selecting all the teams for this edition, at least thus far, how's about another opportunity to speculate as to who the better players are?

  2. morgieb MC Burridge

Enjoyed this in the past. Looking forward to it.

    As for the best:

    Prop: Read
    Hooker: Delonge
    Locks: Davis
    Flanker: Howe
    #8: Deane
    Fly-half: Cribb
    Scrum-half: Hunt
    Wing: James
    Centre: Ames
    Fullback: Furball

I'm probably full of shit/misremembering who was good though :p

  3. Bender BG Herd

i dont even remember what position i was

  4. Arheiner SIA Yates

Morgie's list looks pretty solid, I'd have the same backs as him. Maybe there's some more Crabs in the pack (was thinking Gbagbo particularly, not sure on props), potentially I'm competitive with Deane depending on activity relevance?

  5. morgieb MC Burridge

Yeah was close between you and Deane in particular.

Could pick sledger over AVA, yeah. Hooker was the position I was least certain about. Benny at this point is close to the best forward in the game though.

  6. AVA T Delonge

Yeah I was a gun at some point but I think I've been shunting it for a season now from what I recall. Can't exactly remember though.

  7. Cribbage RG Cribb

Other way around, but gun post all the same for this.

  8. Tartmaster AJ James

I know Gemmell and Deane were fighting to beat the best 8, not sure if that’s still the case.

  9. Tartmaster AJ James

    AWTA

  10. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

Sledger can’t throw for shit at line outs. That’s a real problem for him. I’d probably still take Delonge or maybe even O’Neill.

  11. Baxter MJ Deane

Pretenders to the throne. Get in the bin, the lot of ya.

  12. Boobidy BJ Gemmell

    I'm #1 #8

  13. Hunter AD Hunt

    I am the best.

  14. Howe JHF Howe

Can't disagree with the forward selections. Callum used to be the best flanker in the sim but he's not even playing firsts any more. There are a lot of good 8s and relatively few really consistent flankers, so I'm probably as good as anyone.

Cribb and Hunt are the wrong way around. Ames is a 10/12 but will play 12 this year so that's probably fair enough - the Faz of the sim.

James probably the most consistent wing but I remember Schaw being unstoppable when the mood took him. Don't agree with Furball, Blunder probably still has the edge there.

  15. Tartmaster AJ James

    Yeah Schaw was a gun

  16. morgieb MC Burridge

Yeah looking at the stats Escath is very close to Tart's level.

Blunder and Furball are very close but Blunder won't play fullback this season so.....

  17. Arheiner SIA Yates

I feel like there was plenty of solid flankers but none stood out other than Callum who fell off a lot.
