I'm sure a lot of people have watched this Netflix documentary already, but for those who haven't, give it a crack. Really, really appealing.

Those who have, share your thoughts.

    Travesty.

Woah perfect timing. Started it today. 3 episodes in and I'm fucking fuming. So obvious what the cops have done here.

Have heard they left heaps of evidence out of the show which suggests that he is indeed guilty

  5. Gazza GJ Weaver

Yeah I've watched it all and it makes out that he's innocent as shit but apparently they left quite a bit of stuff out and now I'm not so sure

Doesn't account for the 18 years initially. I guess that would change anyone

Yea I've heard that a lot was left out and the show is quite biased, as these sorts of things generally are, and it would be a good idea to read the background before making your mind up on something as complex as this just based on a tv show

Just had a quick google of some of the evidence left out that would suggest guilt, pretty weak to be fair unless there is other stuff I haven't seen.

Spent hours after finishing the series reading up links on the reddit subforum and there's just a mountain of stuff to consider that isn't in the TV show.

I suppose the main point is just to expose flaws in the system and not to focus too much on whether or not he's guilty.

It definitely is biased in a sense, but that's due to the directors portraying the documentary from Avery's side.

In my opinion there's too much doubt in the case for him to be convicted.

And surely it's more than odd that when they discovered that the RAV4 was on the Avery Salvage Yard property, over the radio someone said 'is HE in custody?'. On the yard there were roughly 10 people including women living there.

I mean the last person to see someone alive is quite often a chief suspect. Not that unbelievably odd.

Apparently he used Barbara Dassey's name to get Halbach to visit him. Plus he made his number not show up on er phone when he called her. Apparently he also answered the door in nothing but a towel too so was obv a bit of a creeper

Exactly, 'apparently'. Facts are facts. Her car key was found (one that is now known to be the spare key as the photo they show continually in the documentary of her, she is holding car keys which are vastly different. Which begs the question of the likely hood of her using spare keys which is slim but let's amuse ourselves here) in a tiny room after 3 days of thorough searching. Found none the less by the one crooked cunt who got him last time. The key only possess his DNA and no one else's. Quite strange as they're someone's fucking car keys.

That's just one of the many inconsistent, undeniable facts of the evidence in Avery's favour. The media and prosecutors can stick all their bullshit alledged based 'evidence' left out of the documentary up their arse.

Had a good old chuckle about his ex mrs coming out and saying he was a monster and she was coerced into saying nice things about him. Oh and now that she thinks about it he was acting very strange the day she called. Give me a fucking break.

His new lawyer Kathleen Zeller has been doing a few tweets about her investigations into it as she goes along.

One good recent one is saying that the body couldn't have been burned in the pit as such heat would have burned down Avery's garage.

I don't reckon he was smart enough to cover it up so well

  20. Storer BA Storer

The things that he supposedly covered up doesn't really make sense because of what he didn't cover up.
He has a car crusher in his yard.. Why not crush TH's car? Why keep the key and leave it in your bedroom?
