Yeah have sussed it out a little. We may get lucky. Couple of the decent top picks looked to have rubbish potential and I did notice a couple of the lower ones had potential grades in the high Bs.
I reckon in future you should make it so there might be players who have a higher rating than we can scout that's in one of the lower groups.
Yeah will keep that in mind in future. Obviously this drafting process is a massive work in progress Trying to keep a little mystery in it this season by only allowing you to have a look at 25% of the top 20 rookies. Means someone who was slated to go early could easily drop to 20 or thereabouts. Also not disclosing exact potential, just a range. No one will know exactly who will be the best.

Agree with this. But at the same time if you want to there's not much I can do about it. Managers could easily fuck the numbers to throw you off the scent of a good prospect though. Is the same with the ratings of your squad. You can trade ratings or make them public if you want but at the end of the day those ratings are there to give you an advantage over other GMs.
If this is on 2K14 the draft classes are actually much more harder to predict. Still a bit predictable, but definitely better than pervious years.
I don't think it's possible to ever have someone who's actually half decent fall below 20 or so though.
There's definitely 1 or 2 that have B/B+ potentials and fall well down the list. One or two people have scouted them.
Also guys, the more players you can provide in your preferences the better. Eg. If you have pick 30, don't give me a list of 5 players. Chances are they'll all be gone by the time your pick rolls around and I'll have to PM you and ask for your pick which in turn makes the draft run longer.
Just say the deadline is Sunday or whenever it was and if it works out that your pick is up and you have nobody on the list left you'll get whoever the next highest on the board is.
Out of interest, was there anyone in the top 20 who didn't get scouted? (Obvs don't name names or anything)
Is there a post that properly explains what this is? Is it this thing? http://www.nbageneralmanagerthegame.com/
:masters: Nah, NP, it's not that. Essentially, we each take on a franchise in Association mode of 2k14 and make our decisions through PMs to Shagger and such. Trades, lineups, draft picks, all the good stuff.
Yeah I'll run with something similar to this. I've still gotta get a few scouting reports to some people. Those will be done by tonight. Hoping to run with the draft tomorrow night and then this week will be devoted to Free Agency. Given it's the weekend I may extend the draft till Monday based on how many people have submitted everything. If I don't get a draft board and/or I run out of players on your draft board I'll just select the next prospect available from the list. Yeah more than a couple haven't been scouted at all. Certain players have been scouted by 75%-80% of managers.
