NRL 2023 Season

-Think it could be an interesting year, Api and Kikau pretty big outs for Penrith and they're due for a bad run with injuries, hard to argue they won't be up there though.
-Feel Parra will be up against it with Mahoney and Papali'i gone.
-Expecting Storm and Roosters to be strong, Cowboys better for the year so all up there again.

-Hopefully the Tigers competitive with their ins, Doggies to start getting it together a bit too, both seem to have done pretty well with some ins. Walsh big for Broncos too.
-Feel like Titans signing Foran will be a massive flop.
-Knights and Warriors recruitment pretty meh. Fancy Adam O'Brien to be first coach sacked.

No real outlandish punts with my ladder. Would love some surprises though, was nice having Cows & Sharks show a bit in 2022.

Are there any big rule changes on the horizon?

 

It's been a couple of seasons of chatter about the dogs recruits and how they'll lift, but 2023 especially they look like their gains far outstrip their losses. The existing signings will be better for 2022 together, Ciraldo hopefully keeps Kikau on the same track he was at on Panthers, Mahoney a big in at 9. Thinking something will give and maybe lift some of their talented under achievers.

On this years late form you'd switch them and Raiders, or possibly bronx with the addition Walsh, but I felt/hope somethings brewing in one of the weaker teams.

Tigers improvement purely based on how high I rate Koroisau. His craft around the ruck should really improve the penetration of their forwards, get the halves a bit more time and see Laurie and co moving in to a bit more space outwide.

Thing I'm most convinced of is Warriors last, which probably means they'll challenge for top 4 out of nowhere.

 

Even though I've put them at 7th the ones that I think could really slide are the Rabbitohs. I think their list is looking a bit tired to me, Cook & Walker getting old, Latrell still a gun but their backs don't really do much for me.

I do think Murray and Koloamatangi are stars, but wouldn't be shocked to see them drop off considerably, especially given weaker side like Tigers & Dogs should be improved. Hard one to peg though when they're a side that can drop two 50 point losses and make a GF, but they're not getting any stronger.

 

Robinson seems to be a good coach, I think Cheese is a good get for them, their older heads are class and are probably looking at one more big push before declining, Suuali and Manu are real weapons, Walker a year older and they're due a decent run with injuries and I think

Think the other part is the other top sides are looking quite a bit weaker to me. Parra and Penrith haven't replaced what they've lost, Souffs looking a bit tired, Storm going through a bit of a transition/Pap coming back from a big knee.


I actually really like the Broncos on paper, feels like where there's smoke there's fire with the murmurs about Walters coaching though.

The Dragons look the real no hopers for mine, Titans and Warriors don't inspire me, but geez the Dragons have problems everywhere

Why on earth would Broncos renew Walters now, like the Dragons extending Hook last year or Tigers signing Peachey on a 2 year instead of 1 year deal.... You're not bidding against anyone
