Anyone hazard a guess at a ladder? Hope more and more riff guys pull out of the international stuff and come back fresh, also interested to see how Raiders come back. Hard to see tits or Knights getting off the bottom. Parra to make the 8 off the back of Moses having a full season, Warriors so low purely because they should do well and that tends to be when they flop. Dragons a basket case too but I really rate Flannagan as a coach. Roosters Storm Broncos Penrith Raiders Dolphins Parramatta Sharks Dogs Rabbits Tigers Manly Dragons Warriors Cows Knights Titans
Souths and Bulldogs will make the 8 imo. Easts wont finish that high either. Penrith will be on a mission.
Probably best to wait for all the team movements, especially with 360 lurking Top 4 of Storm, Riff, Brisbane and Roosters Raiders and Warriors for big slides. Will be interesting to see if the NRL is as inconsistent as this year.
As far as the ladder goes, I'd break it up into groups. Sides that are likely top 4: Panthers Broncos Storm Sides that are likely to make the 8, could crack the top 4: Raiders Sharks Dogs Sides that are likely to be in the 7-10 logjam, a long shot for top 4. Roosters Warriors Dolphins Bunnys Could be a 7-10 logjam candidate. Though more likely to place lower. Parramatta Cows Manly Tigers Dragons No chance IMO. Tits Knights
Considering how often players are out now, Roosters will have a huge regular season advantage with two premier halves and neither playing origin.
If Knights would just sign some half decent props they have enough talent in the spine to score some points next year under Holbrook. Titans on the other hand feel like they've pull all their eggs into the Bellamy basket and are happy to write this year off.
The Bellamy chat is crazy after signing Hannay. It's that poorly run of a club I can see them losing Hannay and not getting Bellamy.
He's 19 and all talk I've heard is that he hasn't developed much, and if he is going to be NRL ready it's not going to be for 3-4 years minimum.
Tim Flegler will be ready for round 1 apparently. If he makes a successful return, it will be huge for QLD, but moreso for the Australia in the World Cup
Dragons definitely have a future halfback in Kade Reed. The new 6 again for infringements beyond the 20 instead of 40 will definitely favour the Broncs, there were barely any penalties blown.
