Or doesn't want to sit through 24 rounds of 5 minutes highlights (2hrs of footage) for no reason.

But I'll entertain you for the absolute first discrepancy in data which is Round 2 Vs the Rabbitohs, Foxsports have 1 try assist recorded and Champion Data/MF have 0 try assists recorded.

Foxsports attribute a Try assist the most influential play outside of the try scorer in the lead up.
Champion Data for the most part attribute a Try assist for the last action (kick or pass)

So take Round 2 where you say Tedesco had no try assists, Foxsports attribute him a try assist in the 52nd minute of the game.

Here is the try assist in question; NRL 2026 | Roosters v Rabbitohs | Match Highlights | Round 2

Now to anyone who knows Rugby League, it's Tedesco's in and away on Cody walker that drags in Latrell Mitchell and then his flick pass to Toia that creates the 2 on 1. Therefore he is attributed the try assist. Champion Data/MF however give the try assist to Robert Toia because he threw the last pass even though that play is far less influential in the creation of points.

Like I said, we have just used different data sets. I prefer Foxsports for exactly the reason listed above, they're not perfect but they apply far more common sense to the way they record the majority of their statistical data IMO.

If you want to stand by Champion Data's method then all good, I'm not going to try and pretend like your stats are wrong. They're just measured differently.

Fuck me that's a lot of words to try and save face. They credit him with a try assist in one of the games for running from dummy half and passing to DCE, nothing doing, who makes the line break off his own back with a dummy and step. So don't give me this shit about last pass not really mattering. Keep grasping at those straws.

It's wild that the Phins were such heavy favourites in this. Their D was always gonna be the achilles heel.

Toia's just ridiculous. A misread here or there but he's been superb.

Sad for the Dolphins because they have played amazing footy this year. They were shit tonight and comfortably shut down. But I'm happy Easts made the GF because they are far more likely to challenge Penrith. That's why I had them 1st and 2nd at the start of the year; best all-round teams, who can win with both attack and defence. Excellent depth.

Would be cool to see DCE end with a premiership. Money is on Penrith tho. Too much field position domination.

That was pretty much exactly as expected. None of the phins guys seemed that heartbroken

I mean they knew when Collins scored she was all over, with 25 to go. Had plenty of time to let it sink in. I agree tho, no real surprises here.

lol @ you taking a shot at someone for writing a long post.

"Tedesco not remotely close to Ponga this year"

I expected more from their forward pack.

Reece Robson has been such a good signing though, last two weeks we've gone back to playing off him through the middle and we've looked far more effective in attack.

Feel like the Dolphins are at a point where they could really fuck their salary cap up with Tabuai-Fidow, Farnsworth & Bostock all off contract.

Herbie is the obvious one and must re-sign.

I think Bostock is a very good winger but I'd be very tentative as to much I would pay him as a centre especially if they're going to pay Herbie $1m+

Tabuai-Fidow apparently asking for $1.4m + I just don't know how you justify that.

Lotta words to say a whole lot of nothing. You lost the argument 3 days ago, bud. Let her go...

Let's be real MF's ego could never admit he's wrong.

Cleary on the bench for the Panthers...

Knights still at $3.25 which seems like a good value punt.

You try so hard not to engage but the way I can get under your skin, it's just chef's kiss lol

Cleary's not playing if this is a regular season match. Penrith should still win comfortably. Ivan letting Schneider go to buy Talagi is one of his rare fuck ups. Dude was supposed to be a gun 6 and is now the only real defensive weakness in their side at centre.

  17. Magic AJ Parker

    Damn that's a bad break, but I don't agree it's a send off.

Cleary hugely unlucky, fracture in one foot, now a low leg break in the other.

A send off is outrageous. Ryan Couchman only went for 10 when he did Hopgood's ACL

I can't remember such a poorly officiated finals series.

Perfect example of injury dictating punishment. Putrid fucking call. Hope Cleary is okay. Easts' comp to lose now. Neither of these two are beating them.
