    That's sensational from the Knights. One of all the time great finals games.

    Happy for Sandon, got to watch him a lot in the lower grades and he's always been exceptional finishing off a long range try. Never a halfback but doing a job for the Knights.

    Shorter turn around, boggy game with 12 men will see Knights surely run out of puff next week, but geez what a win tonight. Great story, pumped for justin holbrook

    Tryna think of a better shot from a fullback on a prop. Ponga on Leota was fucking wild. To do it at that stage of the game.

    So happy for the Knights. Tears being shed, you can see how much it means to them.

    Panthers falter at the prelim two years in a row. Gotta be said, their ball control this finals series has been deplorable.

    Not a Nathan Cleary fan but jeez, poor bloke. Can't imagine the emotions Ivan went through trying to manage the side with his son getting a compound fracture.

    I was a few minutes away from confirming a grand on Penrith in this. Then I saw Cleary benched and I was like yeah, no thanks lol.

    Easts should be easy money tho. Knights have heart but this is giving me real 2017 Storm v Cowboys vibes.

    After his origin series he should be a lock. His contract has a few hundred grand extra per year after a possible GF/WC win.

    Penrith weren't very impressive against the Roosters imo, they snuck away with that win so that alone made me hesitant to put anything on them even against Newcastle. Newcastle have two of the worst defensive wingers in the game so not being able to score against them when they have 12 men is really something, Roosters will pile on the points against them. Robinson will know to target Dom Young and Marzhew is even worse.

    Massively.

    Even if Knights are some how close late, theyve had a much harder slog to lead up. Two arm wrestles, particularly that soggy one, nz trip etc, shorter turn around etc. Surely run out of legs compared to the roosters two cake walks.

    I think Easts' pack just strangles the life out of the Knights, who are toilers, to be sure. They'll dominate them with and especially, without the ball. And I mean Whyte/Collins/Robson is a Test standard front row.

    I also fear that Panthers game may have been the Knights GF. They have to get up and fire on all 8 to really be a chance. Or Ponga goes all Reece Walsh...

    One bloke who needs more raps is Nat Butcher. How he's never been in serious Origin discussion is beyond me. He would've made wayyy more sense on the bench for NSW than Radley. The definition of underrated.

    Klein barely getting GF's but always doing Origin does my head in. Anyways thank fuck he won't be out there on Sunday. He's been atrocious this year.

    Why do teams over complicate attack so much? Knights last week just had to give Bradman Best ball and he'd embarrass Talagi all day, conversely with the extra man Penrith just had to square up with some width and they'd have found space.

    Felt like Knights only properly went to best twice when Talagi was on and as for Penrith Jack Cole was stepping in, bringing players under or just generally fucking around, instead of giving their best attacking weapon in Mclean some ball. Its my pet peeve at the highest level.

    One moment that will unfortunately be forgotten due to the result was that absolutely massive shot Liam Martin put on that led to a knock on. That was an absolutely huge moment but Cogger and co. did fuck all with it.

    I dunno I reckon they almost looked less fatigued than the Panthers at the end of the prelim.

    They're a very mobile pack that base their game on extreme fitness, both of their games where they had a send off (Warriors & Panthers) it almost didn't seem to affect them.

    I just think a team like Knights who can create something out of nothing from their own end are going to be dangerous no matter what. Get the feeling the game will be won on the edges.

    I never like playing a side in big games who have got no expectations...

    Yeh I thought similar all game after Best made that linebreak so early on, then almost as soon as Garner came on they went back to attacking that edge immediately. Very odd.

    For everything the Panthers have done over the last 7 years, signing Talagi as a 5/8 is baffling.

    Also Ticketmaster is so fucking shit, the fuck around for Grand Final tickets this year was the worst I've ever experienced.

    The passcode for members was the same generic passcode that was used all finals series so general members of the public could easily get access to it.

    Not to mention only releasing 5k tickets to each membership base is a joke, they should be packing both ends of the grounds with Members, would create an awesome atmosphere.

    If there's one thing PVL just hasn't gotten right during his tenure it's been the game day experience.
