Did they change the double-movement rule? Not the referee, not the commentators, not the video referee. Not a single person on my television said one word about Jenkins try being a double-movement? Am I having a stroke or something? The ball carrying arm touches the ground and then he reaches out...

    Wtf is going on?

Butler in the bunker has been absolute dogshit this year. He should be dropped for that double-movement....AND HE'S DOING FUCKING ORIGIN.

I cant make heads or tails of it. Blatant doible movement.

Walkers kick and binning was sublime though

Gotta give it to PVL and Abdo on the new TV rights deal.

    - Massive dollars
    - Kept it on one streaming service
    - Got full control of the draw back
    - Content creators will be allowed to use footage without being flagged for copyright

Almost hard to fault any of it... Would've been nice if Fox could also show origin and Finals games live but given everything else they've delivered on I'll cop it.

Thought it was a laugh when I saw the Dolphins were now 2nd premiership favourites ahead of the Roosters and Warriors. Now they're back to a more reasonable 4th. There really isn't many good teams this year since the Storm, Broncos and Dogs have dropped off. Manly, Newcastle, Dolphins aren't actually any good, they're just filling a hole. The usual hole fillers in the Sharks are way better than them.

Good to see Tyson Brough get his first game in the NRL. Reffed with him at state carnivals about 15 years ago. Still pissed he got the final, Qld/Nsw game over me lol.

Thought he had a very solid debut.

Perfect example of point 1 in the Roosters v Storm game.

Fucking horrific rule, get rid of it

That Sharks kit tonight with the pink stripe down the side is one of the most putrid fucking things I have ever seen.

I don't even know if that is a perfect example because he'd well and truly left the ruck, it was a full blow scoot by the time the Storm played played at his arms. Gerard Sutton is just cooked.

In general I think all passes being knocked down need to be judged on a case by case basis, there's nothing worse than seeing a centre/winger jam in for a good read and tackle but get penalised because the ball player has thrown a ridiculous last second pass that's nicked an arm of a defender only looking to make a tackle.

Let the refs make the call, the captains challenge can be called for any that are wrong in the run of play.

This media talk of moving Walsh to the halves is asinine.

It is getting comical now watching people continually write off James Tedesco because he is so unconventional.

Comes back after his concussion from game 3, plays a game and a half and has 5 tries, 3 linebreaks, 3 try assists and 1 linebreak assist.

When a forward pack is rolling and he can play up the middle, then he's easily the best fullback. It's when that's not happening that he becomes average.

Fairly happy with my pre-season call of a Penrith vs Easts GF. Long ways to go but it looks on track. I couldn't believe there were people doubting DCE's move. He's well past his best but he was never not going to be a net positive.

Penrith's to lose tho imo. Doubt Easts can go with them in a grind.

Hope that some smokeys bump them off though. Fins have good records against both of them., and have always troubled Penrith. Wahs have also put in some solid performances against them, and could jag a win. Probablyneed a top 2 finish though. Sharks, unfortunately do not have the greatest record against them, especially Penrith. They are however in red-hot form, so it may count for something.

Annoying that Broncos shat the bed so bad again, with that roster. Really should be a contender, no excuse.

Guess they'll make the GF next year if recent history is any judge.

I’m not overly surprised by Brisbane’s erratic swings in form, there seems to be a lot of ego in that side.

Would be concerned about their wing and prop options next year, plus Pezet/Mam would be close to one of the worst half pairings in the comp (noting they have potential to improve)?
