    That loss by the Wahs makes it so much easier for Penrith too. Their run is now Easts no Walker, Wahs/Knights no week off, Easts/Dolphins GF. God I hope someone stops them. Chooks need to play like this is the GF.

    Haven't been to commbank often but was so bizarre to see the western stand almost completely empty. I don't know who usually sits in those seats butt was really odd to see completely empty bays either side of half way especially in a finals match.

    DCE is cactus, tries a 40/20 kick on 3rd/4th tackle on every second or third yardage set and ran the most predictable field goal set of all time..

    Michael Ennis is an absolute woodduck. Highest quality finals match since Wahs/Panthers last year. Wtf are you smoking cunt? Being close and low scoring does equal quality.

    It was an awful match by NRL standards. 25 errors, both team's completion rate in the 70's. 2 intercept tries. Blokes missing schoolboy conversions and field goals with a prelim on the line. It was pus.

    Don't know how it came across on TV as I haven't watched it back yet but intensity of the game wasn't that high, actually felt very flat in moments.

    Lots of simple yardage errors, Penrith players lying down every chance they could (fucking kudos to Sutton trying to snatch the ball off Jenkins when he was trying to milk a penalty, need more of that from refs... you can tell they're starting to get the shits too) and spreads from both sides were clunky as hell.

    Lindsay Smith is some player, has to be in the NSW team next year for mine.

    Dearden and Black were fine to get rid of, imo. Dearden is a solid player, but is also think he is the most over-rated half in the game, the fact he is getting 1.3m+ from the Cows, I wouldn't want Brisbane to touch him on that. And Black has had 1 game. He didn't get a look all year because he did nothing in NSW cup other than having a decent kicking game from all reports, he couldn't take the Raiders to the finals there.

    Dearden was shit at Brisbane anyway, albeit misused. My issue is signing Pezet soon after an ACL. And his year with Parra has shown he has recurring hamstring issues. Doesn't bode well for the future.

    Dearden is on the same contract as Mam. The 1.3m is in reference to his ratchet clauses which all players have. I know who I would prefer.

    Sharks have been a prank side all year, thought we were very average last night but just had to tickle the Sharks defensive line and they opened up very easily.

    Whyte off after 25mins and not returning is a real concern, he's been our best this year.

    Yeah I mean Penrith are far from unbeatable. Dolphins and Easts can beat them on their day. I just don't think they will. Dolphins have too many weaknesses defensively which have to be compensated for with blistering attack. Dunno if you can win a prem doing that.

    Easts are much better defensively but their pack, with the exception of Whyte, has a very low workrate in yardage. They rely too much on the back five imo.

    Ponga got sent off in Origin for a tackle similar to that. No wrapping motion, shoulder and head on head. How is that not a sin bin by today's standards? No one is going to convince me players staying down doesn't dramatically influence the result.

    Laban getting found out again. I mean there's a serious structural problem with the Warriors right edge but if you're there to cover from the inside, you have to do better than that.

    Knights need to keep smashing that edge. Money for jam all night.
