I dont have the same love for the game any more. It's been kinda ruined for me. The over-protection of players coupled with the systematic style of play makes watching less and less enjoyable. Of course I hope Qld wins but if we dont well, c'est la vie. Hard to admit but I dont care enough to be "rattled." Maybe if we werent already leading by 8 series, I'd care more.

As for the match, I think it's a 50/50. NSW are the better side. And we have home ground advantage. Both teams cant tackle for shit. So buggered if I know.

I'll admit I've never seen Blues fans so confident, especially after winning 1 out of 4 halves. Gonna be very interesting if they're trailing at half time tonight.

 

That has more to do with the score than the count itself. Most games he wouldnt even know what the count is by halftime. And its not common practice for his reviewer to tell him.

The last game played in Brisbane, NSW won the count 8-2. And lost the match by 26 points. They win the count 6-0 in Melb. lead by 34 and then lose it 9-1 in the second half. lol comical.

How he keeps getting Origins is beyond me.

So we pretty much went from our worst defensive performance in 3 years, kinda fixed that, and then to our worst attacking performance in 3 years lol.

Slater may have looked a genius after game 1 but what he did with our forwards in this series, absolute schamozzle. Trying to be too clever, preparing for a little man onslaught that pretty much never came until the game was already over. Cotter to the middle, no, Cotter on the bench, nah put him on an edge. Kaufusi in the middle, yeah for a bit, Kaufusi on an edge, yeah nah back to the middle. What even is this?

Trying to play aggressive at our own end and conservative in theirs.

Cant win if you dont even get the basics right.
