    He's definitely better than he was when he left for the UK, and not every reserve grade hero can fit into Melbourne's structure like he did (Hampton and Roberts were flops) but yeah I'm inclined to agree anyway.

    I have heard a few rumours and it makes complete sense that the Cowboys will sign Jacob Lillyman. He'll take unders to go back to the club he started at and have a last crack at a premiership in a good side. It also makes sense for the Cows with Tamou leaving and a couple of young blokes probably a year or two off first grade. I get the feeling Hannant will leave.

    I could get around a middle third rotation of Scott, Lillyman, Taumololo, Bolton, Hess, Kaufusi

    I dunno about Hess up the guts. I agree that he's a better player than Asiata overall but I see him much more as an edge forward. I think I'd rate Asiata the better middle third player.

    Think you'll find there are dozens of Australian ex-Warriors who enjoyed their spells at the club and would strongly disagree with that. Living in NZ > Aus after all.

    All about the moolar really though isn't it? Reckon we would pay him about 600k...which is probably a significant increase on what he's currently getting at the Broncos.

    Can't say I blame him wanting to leave mediocrity to return to the Cowboys who are now an actual premiership threat unlike when left. Would be nice to have Lillyman since Tamou's off.
