Still getting turned over in opposition territory then. Really annoying but that's the only thing that's been disappointing.

I know they're saying we've not been fast enough to make holes but we do have 3 first half tries and the defending has generally been very organised, especially out wide.

If it stays this way for the whole game then it'll be time to have a moan but there's nothing wrong with defences being competent for long stretches in the first half before the fatigue kicks in. SA scored 50 of their 60 points against USA in the second half.

    Crucial bonus point score, right?

  3. Mariner CL Warrington

Well that bonus point's gonna be useful isn't it, glad we got that

The problem is we're so slow to the breakdown. It was the big difference against the Aussies and even Uruguay are highlighting it

Haskell is shit, have I mentioned that

    Yes Slade.

  7. Mariner CL Warrington

I see why Blunder's been going on about Slade for so long

Devon and Cornwall quickfire double. Get on

Odd bit of sexy rugby starting to come through now.

Commentator notes that Englan have scored more tries in the second half like it's his first game of rugby.

Oldest player ever to score an international hat trick

    Boo @ taking Watson off

10 points missed from kicks now then

  14. Mariner CL Warrington

Not even the highest attendance for a rugby game in Manchester there today.

    Too easy, another hattrick

  15. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

    Ford
    Slade
    Joseph

Has to be the midfield come the 6N. Tuilagi on the bench as an impact player

Pretty ridiculous that at 24 Manu would be the oldest of those four.

  17. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

If we had Nowell and Watson on the wing he'd be the oldest of the 6 lol

Now we just need to work out the backrow. This world cup has highlighted a weakness at the breakdown. We got away with it somewhat with Hartley and Lawes in the side but without that mobility in the tight 5 its just not good enough

What young prospects do we have at 6 through 9?
