    Several riders have seen an opportunity in the slow pace of the peloton. We have 2 riders trying to create a breakaway. It remains to be seen if B.Lancaster, D.Tanner can agree amongst themselves to make the breakaway work.
    There's plenty of movement in the peloton with 3 riders trying to break away. The names are : D.Hondo, A.Klier, V.Isaychev.
    Luke Rowe (BMC) is awake to everything and tries to react to every attack.
    Attack by 2 riders. (B-J.Lindeman, D.Gruzdev)
    The peloton has increased the tempo
    Race update. Numerous riders are attempting attacks to break away from the peloton. Riders prominent in these attempts are : E.Sanz, G.Izagirre
    There's plenty of movement in the peloton with 4 riders trying to break away. The names are : M.Burghardt, L.Westra, L.S.Haedo, B.Lancaster.
    Anders Lund (RadioShack) is trying to counter!
    Jakob Rathe (Garmin) is trying to stick to the wheels of the attackers.

    The peloton doesn't seem too worried about the breakaway. Perhaps they underestimate the danger.

    The gap with the breakaway is beginning to shorten as the peloton seems set on denying them victory.

    Who won the NZ events skippos? Guessing Sargent was also in the top 5 for the ITT?

    The escapees have now put a minute between themselves and the peloton.
    None of the big teams seem worried by the breakaway.
    With more than 2 minutes on the peloton, the breakaway is beginning to look more convincing.
    The breakaway has now more than 5 minutes on the peloton.
    The riders are taking it easy today, they seem to be keeping something in reserve for the final kilometres.

    I'd guess maybe Betancur or Monfort. Although it's more of a puncher's race so perhaps not.

    It usually does in single player when you do a detailed simulation/3d race whilst it's loading the stage (also shows current rider tour rankings etc). Assuming you're using the detailed simulation option based on results outpup? Granted you might have to do it differently from when playing single-player though :p

    Despite the finishing post being a long way off, Gorka Izagirre (Citrosol) has decided to attack. His first aim is to put some distance between himself and the peloton.
    Attack by Michael Schär.
    Several riders have seen an opportunity in the slow pace of the peloton. We have 2 riders trying to create a breakaway. It remains to be seen if G.Izagirre, J.Vermote can agree amongst themselves to make the breakaway work.
