Season 10 Thoughts and Predictions (HC)

  1. Cribbage RG Cribb

    With the season schedule to be released this week, I thought I'd have a proper look at the comp that is oft over-looked when it comes to recruitment to see how the teams are shaping up. It'll be taken a lot more seriously this season (stuff on the site/sidebar, ladder, days scheduled, proper form etc) so I thought I'd create a discussion thread. I'll do it team preview style, post by post.

    One of the many oddly balanced teams, Pilgrim will likely bat eight as a specialist batsman as the Stickies' second and third best bowlers also happen to be their third and fifth best batsmen. They bat down to eleven so they should post some handy totals but their pace bowling attack is poor and it'll probably cost them a place in the finals.

    The whole season schedule is being released - not just for the OD comp. I'm just posting in here because we've been over the BS teams for next season to death. :p

    Another strong batting lineup, this team with two absolute epic bowlers to lead the attack. Possible concerns over the support bowlers but should be right up there.

    Well if you've only got one quick in your best five bowlers it'd be fine, but if Rogers/Darts are going to bowl you might as well give them the new pill tbh.
