We were so, so bad at the end of last season that we have a lot of catching up to do. I think we should be able to avoid the spoon though - we should be hard to beat at home at least.
I think next season will be a lot more even in general. I don't think there will be any truly awful teams and I think there are five or six genuine contenders. Going into Season 12 I feared for the Stickies and Cyclones and had pretty much narrowed it down to three sides for the title, with the third being a bit of a long shot.
1. Vipers 2. Allstars 3. Stingrays 4. Pumas 5. Ravens 6. Gamblers 7. Crusaders 8. Cyclones 9. Sticky Wickets I'm more thinking of it in terms of Tier A: Vipers, Allstars, Stingrays, Pumas Tier B: Ravens, Gamblers Tier C: Cyclones, Sticky Wickets .. and I have no idea where to put the Saders because they have such a weird team right now. I reckon the Vipers might finish top on the back of a perfect home record and then get rolled in the final on a neutral pitch though. I think it was a lot easier for them to get away with not really having a fifth bowling option when their first four bowlers were balanced so traditionally; two spinners with Delonge as fifth bowler could hurt them on neutral ground against any of the other top four I think.

Batting must have collapsed as well to have Flack and Hunt with 500 runs on the board after only 130odd overs. Unless they just have ridiculous strike rates.
