Seasonal Rugby: Season Six Redux

It's been over a year now since the last match of Seasonal Rugby was simmed. And a fair old time since the last contract or sign-up.

And this site is pretty much dead.

I'm willing to give it one last try though to see if we can get the thing going again.

My suggestion is to void all the current contracts and start with four teams. Two teams would be put on hiatus until player numbers increase again

One obvious choice to put on ice would be the Immortals as they were a new team anyway. My second suggestion would be the Sharks as they were struggling most with players.

 

Actually, we could just stick with the contracts as-is and let the Sharks and Immortals contracts become invalid.

Then, the residual Sharks and Immortals players that are left can sign up for the 4 remaining teams, make the standard much better and given the season will be much shorter due to fewer teams, we should just blast through it quite quickly.

That assumes that the broadcasting pages still work. Might have to check that out with a friendly or something. Not exactly teeming with posts on the subject though.

 

Yeah. Why not. It'd be a decent test.
