Feel for him. Has missed so much footy

    Capewell is dropped apparently....thank fuck.

Moses and Cleary will be the halves for NSW.

  3. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Taulagi, Gilbert both ruled out. Carrigan just a split lip hopefully not broken jaw.

Haas 50/50 to play. Would be a huuugge out.

Apparently Val on the sting and Toia to debut.

Interesting, I'd rather he played a full season, but I really don't want Cobbo anywhere near the side at this point.

And May is the diet-Haas, and he's likely had a line put through him for season, at least.

I hope they pick May. Cunt has bog lateral movement. He's great in attack but very vulnerable in defence. Agree tho, like Haumole after that tweet, cunt needs to learn his lesson for a few years.

I'd be pretty happy with that. Holmes has always been a winger. He's not up to it defensively in the centres. Great reward for Toia after such a shit run.

Edit - Toia is in. Pretty amazing after only 10 NRL games.

Glad to see no real braindead decisions. Keen AF to see Moses and Cleary, possibly too many cooks but if they gel well it'll be exciting to see.

It's a very good side. Credit to him for leaving out Turbo given the obvious impairment he's still dealing with. Martin shouldnt be starting imo but it's not a major issue.

Well-balanced side that I really cant find too much fault with.

Loiero is in for Qld apparently. I'm okay with it. We need offloaders in the pack and he brings that along with Tino and Carrigan. Strong defensively too.

Fermor in as well. Rrally glad he pissed Capewell off.

Hopgood has been cheeks this year so probably a good idea from Slater to drop him. Sad to see Capewell go as a Blues fan.

I had a sneaky suspicion Toia would be picked, for a rookie centre his defence has been seriously good. Has had limited opportunities in attack but has tons of ability.

To mark up against Latrell Mitchell in a NSW side who you would imagine are going to have a lot of good ball has to be just about the toughest assignment any NRL Rookie will ever be given.

I still dont understand why Slater feels the need to name middle forwards like Cotter, Gilbert and Arrow on the edges but he keeps doing it so fucks me.

Nanai starting is irritating as well. 3 games off the bench for Qld and he's made immediate impact every time. Why you'd change that puzzles me.

At least he's picked 2 middles on the bench and changed his mind about taking both Dearden and Mann which would've been stupid.

Can we actually use Coates this time please. That aerial try on the weekend was the best I've seen since Folau. Dude must have the sickest vertical in the NRL.

$1.66 for NSW seems a tad short to me. $2.25 for Qld at home has a bit of value.

The Blues are definitely stronger than last year on paper. But you cant overstate how much we missed Tino and Munster. They are huge ins.

I'll never understand how he and others like him aren't used more. A running jump for an attacker vs stationary start for the defender is such an under utilised advantage.

Been seeing heaps of early crows from the general Blues' community. Gotta love it!
