    Outside of the spine and starting middle forwards, NSW look so much stronger. Centre and edge backrow is especially bad, they've got blokes not even being considered who would walk into the QLD starting side.

    But if this years NRL is anything close to a guide, anything is possible.

    They're not without their flaws tho. Mitchell has never been great defesively, very susceptible to being beaten on the outside. And Ponga/DCE have made Crichton look second-rate in the past.

    I think Ponga/Toia/Coates, assuming the latter plays right side, could be an area to attack given the mismatch on To'o and Mitchell's lazy defence.

    Need enough good ball to make it happen tho.

    Having a creative hooker in Harry Grant is a huge advantage for QLD, NSW will dominate the general field but if QLD can hold indefinitely then Grant and Munster will break through when they get their chance down the other end. Only way I see them winning.

    Ponga is the one who worries me the most, he can very quickly just help QLD put two tries on the board at any time throughout the game and two tries at Suncorp can be enough to win the game on alone.

    On the flip side I've seen more errors in Edwards game this year and I think he's the one who stands out in the backline as just not in the same class. But he's also done it multiple times at GF level so hoping he will pull through.

    Lindsay Collins the one for QLD I think is a really suspect selection, played 20-25 minutes on the previous weekend and got absolutely torn to shreds defesnivley after returning from an MCL (probably a little early).

    Klein picking up where he left off last year. Lomax driven back 5m. You are never calling a hold down penalty especially when multiple have been worse. His selection for penalties in the ruck is so bad.

    Queensland will be wrapped to go in 12points down I reckon, has been very one sided. Goes without saying but they will need to score some tries whilst To'o is off the field.

    Also did they seriously start kicking off to the other side of the field once Spencer Leniu came on the field? Most un-origin play I've ever seen... have a fucking go.
