    I dont mind being salty about this. the sheer number of 6 agains Klein finds for NSW when theyre in our 20 is ludicrous....we couldnt fucking buy one tonight and there were literally a dozen. Hes been doing it for years too.

    I'm worried about us signing DCE.

    I don't know where QLD go from that, as expected they just got absolutely rolled through the middle and they look really short on forward options to rectify that.

    And dont talk me about phantom high tackles after the precedent he set with that Edwards bullshit in the first 5 minutes. Supposed to be state of origin.

    Best thing to come out of this game for QLD is Dearden at acting half. I'd start him Give him some more reps there at training to tidy up that 1 mix-up and he's golden.

    QLD really need to rub of the green, or at least go even to win this series. But 2 blues tries in the first half came directly following a bad miss from Klein.

    Was hoping for some square-ups in the 2nd half, like Mo's knock-on being given some grace, but nothing.

    160 minutes at home and we score one try from a Blues error. Not even close to good enough at this level. Blues defence deserves credit for sure. But jesus christ our attack has to be the worst in the last 7 or 8 years.

    I was happy with Toia. Good first effort on debut to keep Mitchell fairly quiet. In a team full of totally ineffective tackling, he did pretty well.

    That second half had to be one of the worst 40 minutes of Origin, recently. Both teams just couldnt create, couldnt stop dropping the ball. Felt like Newcastle vs Gold Coast.

    How do you beat Mitchell so easily twice in the first 15 and then hardly go there again? The amount of times Carrigan, Cotter and Tino got tackled on 4th was pathetic and mystifying.

    Feel like the core of this Blues side will be tormenting us for quite a while. Has the makings of a dynasty imo. Really good squad with proper experience and confidence of knowing after two wins in Brisbane that theyre better than us even away from home.

    Never once blamed Klein for the loss so dont be asinine. Any fair-minded person could see the 6 agains were disparate when each team was attacking. Thats why you cant argue it, you have to resort to straw mans.

    Lol you have to win more rucks to complain about the lack of ruck policing for one team. Okay then Einstein.

    You used to sit there crying about a 5-1 penalty count to Qld at Suncorp when we'd monster your pack but 6-1, 7-1 the other way, nah you cant point out obvious officiating inconsistencies. THAT is whats embarrassing.

    Outside of the kick to give Qld a 7 tackle set when we were down to 12 I didn't think he did anything too bad.

    And that's just origin, there's so many high quality players out there you just can't expect them to be as dominant as they are at club level every week. His time will come, I didn't see anything wrong fundamentally with the partnership. I still think we're better off playing with a more creative fullback with them as a combo but I just don't think it will be a factor given how dominant were through the middle.

    Yeah I don't think there was anything bad about how he played outside of that one shit kick. His pass to Latrell for the bat on to To'o was smooth af, he definitely had a solid game.

    I think it was a typical game 1 style game with everyone still finding their feet, very physical and a little lacking in creativity. The connections will come assuming Daley doesn't do anything stupid and change the team up dramatically for no reason.

    NSW didn't play well and still did it fairly easily. With how much they dominated, really should have won by 40.

    Leiro, Edge Cotter, Holmes and Collins are all gone for mine. Brining in Cobbo in the hope he doesn't make 12 errors, Fermor to start, Horsbrough, and either Arrow or Bullemor for the bench spot.

    Collins is the most overrated forward. Has little impact in his runs, always puts in extra effort in covering defence but because he does he gasses himself and often ends up making some real shit miss tackles.
