    Okay but he was Australian, NSW and club captain. And so was Daley. Doesn't mean shit really.

    Picking the best possible team, and getting the boys playing as a unit is way more important imo. Wayne will help him out.

    I didn't say captaincy matters. Toolman questioned Boyd's leadership and I specifically used Slater as the comparison because he wasn't a club captain yet still had success coaching.

    Just because some people think this shit matters doesn't mean I have to. There's no basis to say Boyd lacks leadership qualities that could not have been applied with even more vigor to Slater prior to his tenure.

    If that's the sort of bullshit people want to sling that's your business. Who he picks and what style of play they use is what matters, and we won't see that for 8 months. Nor his leadership or what he does in his camps.

    Toolman is literally on record saying he hates Darius Boyd. And you know full well you have dozens of posts shitting on him. Im sure that has nothing to do with anything though...lol

    No major issue with Boyd. He at least has coaching history doing with with the 19's. He's just a fuckwit, but so is Billy. Hopefully he doesn't give the cringy Slater interview answers, would rather his one word answer style.

    Boyd will be fine, Bennett will hold his hand throughout. Wayne will do his best not to allow him to fail. Bennett basically had the job until Boyd put his hand up. Wayne nominated himself for the job, Souths gave their blessing, nekminut Wayne pulls out, and a day later Darius is announced.
