Brailey’s service is infinitely better than Robson’s

Great try from Tedesco. Shocking pass to Haumole tho lol.

Well done NSW. We were clearly the better team but whatevs. 3 tries against 12 men. Great job Klein. At least with Suaalii there was an argument to be had about the send off. This was just such a blatant sin bin.

Guess we'll have to do it the hard way.

Robson has been like that every Origin game he has played it feels like. He just looks a beat too slow all game imo

It's hard to split the worst play of the game: Tedesco's pass or Toia's decision to kick on 3rd tackle when no one, even he couldn't chase lol. Probably the most braindead play I've ever seen.

That was the most blatant BS call to try and make it an exciting contest I've ever seen. He even overrode the bunker to make sure it happened.

Surely Klein is done. No way he can ref another big game. Wtf is the cunt thinking?

  7. Magic AJ Parker

Is that the biggest ever SOO comeback?

The NRL will back him to the hilt as they always do. The only person who thinks this guy is the best ref in the world is the one guy who makes the decision. I've never seen a referee who decides the outcome of games more in my life.

Daley picking one prop on the bench and not using him whilst still winning will be the worst thing that happens to NSW this year....

I hate that it’s Origin but that is a send off in modern day rugby league. You can’t disconnect from he modern ruling because it’s Origin. Shoulder charge and knock out the other player then it’s a send off. Head first doesn’t even matter because the shoulder hit the head as well.

im just peeved because Strange motm would have got me 1250. Think it should have been Tedesco but thought I was in with a chance.

disagree because Haas is back for game 2 anyway

If Tedesco was the best player on the field tonight I'll eat my hat.

As for the send off, it's easy to see how he got to that decision. Doesn't make it right tho. There is supposed to be an allowance for mitigating circumstances. Koula was clearly falling, Ponga is bracing; it's not your classic should charge. And it was mostly head-on-head with a bit of shoulder. Klein could've easily and reasonably stated that, put him in the bin, and we'd have all been pretty happy. Instead he overrules his own bunker, and essentially says, NSW wins, such is the gravity of the decision.

I get what you're saying about precedent but this game was clearly not reffed like an NRL game, and nor should it be.

Was a pretty stupid motion by Ponga in the circumstances, Walker had already made the tackle and they weren't 1 metre from the tryline. He's a serial offender, he tries the shoulder bump all the time.

yeah I just don’t want to hear anyone say Strange was as I was holding out hope he’d be motm

Tedesco was horrific up until he scored that try.

He’s such a handbrake in attack.

I was in and out watching that but geez I thought Koula looked good.

Daleys got to go. They need to get a nut case like Madge or Stuart in to coach that will round up these all stars and rev them up, they always play like they've been on a bender from Monday night to Tuesday dinner time and need 15 minutes to sweat it out.

Hell I'd even say give the gig to Andrew Johns, I think he'd be one to really get some pride in the jersey etc.

Drop Barnett, bring in Haas. I've always thought Robson should make way for Api too, his sneaky craft around the middle would be so handy.

McLean should come straight in for Staggs. He was bog average until Capewell moved to the centres.

  18. Magic AJ Parker

Fair but it's still an over reliance on a player returning from injury.

Radley/Murray prop rotation is a piss take.

Modern day game you only really play 2 forwards off the bench other is hooker relief and 4th generally kept up your sleeve for outside back or spine coverage. If those two forwards are going to be Murray and Radley again we will only be slightly better off.

  19. Magic AJ Parker

Slater also didn't get the send off right either IMO, activating your final bench player by throwing Liero on for the last 15mins when Collins only played 25 and Carrigan 48 made no sense when he could've activated Shibasaki.

Staggs and To'O is a shit combination, they're both the same nugget run it hard style of player. Crichton can release To'o with his long arms and Staggs should just run it hard at Walker and have Koula cut back on the inside. Should probably have shifted Haumole to Walker's side too. All of NSW's attack was shit, not once did they even use a play for Tedesco up the middle. Cleary obviously doesn't know how to combine with him so Edwards should come in based on that alone.
