Just pick some props and play through the middle ffs.

Radley/Murray prop combo was the turning point in this game. Qld won ascendancy before half time and did nothing to turn it around after half time.

I don't think NSW can win under Daley, it's fucking painful to watch.

Fucking lol at Gallen saying Tedesco deserves to be there in Brisbane, not once but twice. We get it mate, he's your pick at 1. Hows that worked out so far?

Yeah the talk about the halves not being able to create anything really stems from the dreadful prop selection/coaching. Getting dominated for 3 tackles and throwing it sideways isnt going to get you anywhere. Having said that, Cleary starting to look like Pearce out there

How tf Cobbo doesn't win motm is beyond me. 200m, 3 tries, 1 try assist, 2 line breaks, 7 tackle breaks. So many crucial hard carries out of trouble.

Yeah absolutely insane to pass over him. Pretty much single handedly turned that game in the 2nd half

Toia outjumping Tedesco and the offload for Cobbo's second was pure. Anyone else notice Staggs kinda grabbing Cobbo's foot and putting him off balance for Marky mark's second?

This whole myth about blokes who redline aggression being suited for Origin needs to die a slow, painful death. Radley was awful and should never have been picked in the first place. Young has had some absolute shockers in the past and was mediocre again. The miss on Cobbo 1 minute after half time was appalling.

Daley is just asking for poor discipline in the pack by having both of them in there. Especially when neither of them are in the top 3 players in their respective positions.

The bench was horrendous to start with, but can someone please tell me if there has been a more insipid use of the bench rotations?

    i can’t think of one.

Probably won't go away for a while yet. There'll still be guys like Ennis around coaching roles saying "he's just built for origin"

I really don't think its that hard when NSW has the current talent to pick from, the game plans been there for 20 years.

Pick a good prop rotation and use it intelligently, have some fresh dummy half legs on the pine. Don't try and reinvent the wheel by playing guys out out of position and that's going to lay the foundation for everything else.

I'm really looking forward to either 0 changes, or 6-7.

    The obvious play is Cleary.

I think you can make a pretty strong argument that Tedesco, Staggs, Robson, Young, Radley and Lucas should all be dropped.

And as crazy as it would be, without a chance in the world of it happening, I'm deadset 50/50 leaning towards Moses at 7 with Katoa or Strange at 6. Seriously fuck this drop-off shit that Cleary wastes plays on every set cause it's his security blanket. It's pus.

Looking at multiple replays now, this try absolutely should've been disallowed.

At 21, Rob Toia is already the best defensive centre in Origin since Brent Tate, imho. Both Dolphins juniors too.

He has handled Latrell and Koula with aplomb.

I've seen a lot of commentary and analysis of Cleary. Missed tackles, shitty overstructured play, but nobody has mentioned his single worst play of the game imo. The set after Mark's 2nd try, he half-slices a kick on 4th from 15 inside his half and Ponga gets back to the 40. NSW scuttled any chance of winning on that very play. It killed every bit of momenrum the Blues wrestled back. Qld scored that set.

26-18 with 18mins to go and you do that bullshit? Awful decision to try a 40/20 there.

Ive wondered about cleary at 6. Take the game management away.

I also question whether Moses is sctually that good. He looked good in that series win, but we actually had a coach then in Madge. Clearys looked shithouse, but has played under Fittler and Daleys lobotomised structure, selection and tactics.

Oh there's absolutely no doubt in my mind Cleary would play better under Ricky Stuart, who should've been handed the job when he applied for it shortly before Daley was selected by his good mate Dave Trodden.

We'll see how game 3 goes but if he doesn't do something, I really would consider Katoa etc.

Moses is just unfit and has been for most of the year. If there are any further concerns about his hammy prior to game 3 then he absolutely should not be selected.

Moses is a very good half IMO, definitely capable at this level and his past performances were no fluke.

It's all just completely irrelevant with Daley in charge though. Pick whatever side or players you want he's just so incompetent.

Nice guy but I reckon even Kevin Walters has him for knowledge on the game.

No chance, Staggs is just sliding into the contact and Cobbo steps on his arm.

From wanting Radley sin binned to now this, too soft.
