The extra pass working a treat. Also 9 steals and 10 blocks for the team shows great effort in defence. Cribb's performance was brilliant. Shoots 57%, and a brilliant dub-dub. Deen and Evans also putting up some good numbers and the bigs doing a good job on the boards. All that was left to be desired was a bit more from the bench and a better job for the charity stripe. The wings should also stop taking average shots but that seems to be a work in progress. Sabres MVP: 3 - Rob Cribb 2 - Clayton Evans 1 - Marquis Deen Rob Cribb - On some days, he's innocuous and on others, he's the best player on the court by a landslide. It was the latter for the Sabres guard against the Ocelots. There was absolutely nothing an in-form Manera could do to stop Cribb. Gave his teammates some good looks and ran the floor well, which was particularly important with Tazewell failing to fire this game. Clayton Evans - His shooting numbers have been down all season and it's a well known fact that he takes average shots but this is a guy who is almost guaranteed to give you ~20 points every game and that's important for a side like the Sabres. His work on the boards also makes up for his lack of shooting efficiency. He also racked up 6 assists against the Ocelots which was a rare sight. Evans becoming a consistent dub-dub threat has been a huge positive for the Sabres. 26-9-6 is an impressive stat line and his shooting was up to 48% this game. Marquis Deen - Surprise surprise. Struggled to get his shot off but he was also the reason Tyson struggled. That was key to this victory. Puts up great numbers once again and plays good D. Wasn't the star of the show this time around but an important contribution nonetheless. Cumulative: Marquis Deen - 18 Rob Cribb - 16 Clayton Evans - 10 Joshua Ritchie - 6 Paul Tazewell - 4 Tom Delonge - 3 Allan Izett - 2 Bill Kirk - 1
Obviously got excited by my 3/4 from beyond the arc last time out. Missing a FT too  Love the POTS votes though. As expected, 3 main contributors but others have stepped up in support here and there

Team: Sabres Round: Round 14 Lineup: Starters G - Paul Tazewell (36) G - Clayton Evans (40) F - Marquis Deen (40) F - Joshua Ritchie (28) C - Tom Delonge (36) Bench Allan Izett (24) Classified Classified (20) Bill Kirk (16) Tactics: First scoring option: Marquis Deen Second scoring option: Clayton Evans Special Instructions: Timeout 7-0 run One of Evans/Deen on at all times Mousey to make more changes as he sees fit Deen plays point when Tazewell is off and Classified/Izett plays at 3 ~~ First time I've had to make a drastic change to the lineup. Deen will be happy to finally get some minutes running the point. Tazewell gets a big increase in minutes and a starter spot, he's been pretty good all season but was disappointing last game. We really need him to lift against the Colts. Izett was impressive last game and has deservedly got his minute increase. Was initially going to take some away from Ritchie and reward it to Izett but with Cribb off, Ritchie stays on 28. Classified has also given us some decent production from the bench so he gets a slight minutes increase too. Delonge also gets an extra 4 minutes along with Deen and Evans who have a big workload in the next game. Goooo Sabres

Limited turnovers and a good number of steals to get us over the line. As usual the ball movement seemed to be top notch here. Big 3 standing up big time and cheeky dub-dub for Cribb and Delonge. Shooting a lot better as a team too, which is good to see. Excellent fight in the last quarter to get us the narrow win. Sabres MVP: 3 - Marquis Deen 2 - Clayton Evans 1 - Rob Cribb Marquis Deen - Guarding Siege Morgan is no easy task. He did a decent enough task too. The game so easily could have swung the other way had Morgan been allowed to take over the game. On top of containing Morgan, Deen also helped immensely on the offensive end as he usually does and ended up with an impressive stat line. A sniper from behind the arc too this game. Clayton Evans - Shut Bakkum out completely. He had the easier matchup compared to Deen but Bakkum is capable of having those great nights. Shooting 62.5% is also no joke - especially with a top defensive guard defending you. 3 steals also proof of his activity on the defensive end. Rob Cribb - 22 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds, no turnovers. What more do you want from your point guard? Maybe to convert a higher percentage of your shots. Fantastic performance from the Sabres guard. Cumulative: Marquis Deen - 21 Rob Cribb - 17 Clayton Evans - 12 Joshua Ritchie - 6 Paul Tazewell - 4 Tom Delonge - 3 Allan Izett - 2 Bill Kirk - 1
